Cota, love the bag! Appreciate the honesty preferring the RSIs over the Vapor Pros, and it seems like you've been killing them. The driver and 3 wood are sick, but the putter and the lob wedge are truly incredible! How has the lob been?

Its more of the fact I need a more forgiving club. Plus a wider sole. The RSi is just the perfect blend. Lob wedge is incredible. The grind I got from the Oven is the best wedge I've ever had in the bag. I am so happy I got a backup from them. I really think they should release the green dot sometime in the future. Its having the best of both worlds...DS and TS grinds in one

So I got an email from DD that the TW driver was oversold by Nike in the X flex and that Nike couldn't fill the order.. I was bummed and a little pissed. They only had stiff available. Nike said to contact them via Twitter DM...I did and no reply. DD stepped up to the plate and hooked it up with a BIG TIME discount. Going to pull the shaft as I have another BB and WB I can slap in it here at home. DD has a loyal customer in me.

So finally getting a chance to get on the course tomorrow. Going to be showing up with 2 drivers, 2 putters, 2 #3 hybrids. I'm really looking forward to hitting the r15. Not 100% sold on the JDM LTD Vapor 3 wood yet either. My first impressions is that it is lower launching and spinning than the VR PRO LTD. Sets up a little closed as well. I'm kind of iffy on it at the moment so I am looking forward to hitting it as well.

TW Prototype Speed Driver. I wasn't expecting much as far as looks. Pleasantly surprised how great this looks! The contrast of the face and head looks great. No swoosh sign. I could only get this in a stiff. Pulling the shaft and putting a WB x in it.

TW Vapor is solid but not quite as hot as the Oven VPro, for me.
But I agree, the TW Vapor size-shape and paint scheme is killer.

I'm going to get on trackman within the next few weeks. R15, Oven Pro, TW Speed. Something tells me the r15 will beat them all in ball speed.

Cota, any final thoughts on the vapor speed limited 3 wood? Really thinking of pulling the trigger on one, but can't deal with a closed face like you observed.

It most likely is square. I believe the VR PRO LTD was 1.25 open. It just looks square to closed to me because that's what I'm used to looking at. I honestly don't know if it is or not but I'm getting used to the look. Off the tee has a great flight to it. I would say the VR Pro Ltd is easier off the deck but I'm happy with the purchase. I haven't practiced with it much as I've been playing instead of practicing. I would say if you are in love with your current 3 wood don't change. But if you are in search for one it's worth a try. I would also look at the 915F or the Aeroburner.

I played with 3 drivers today. Oven Vapor Pro, TW Speed Proto, R15. 2 putters... Machine m10 adjuster, Oven TW 001 Proto. I have issues. I am swapping the shaft of the TW for a Whiteboard 73x tipped an inch. The head in the TW is damn perfect. I like it so much it might just replace the Pro from the Oven. After testing these next few weeks I will make a final decision on which driver will be in the bag for the summer. I decided to stay with the 915HD as my #3 hybrid. The Callaway was just too long. I don't need a hybrid that can go 250 yards lol. I need a simple replacement for my 3 iron which is 220-230. I kind of got sidetracked and caught up in the distance of the Callaway. One part of my bag that continues to be the best is the Engage wedges and my putter from the Oven. Best equipment changes I've ever had to my bag.

Not to muddy the waters but I was not sure if the Fly-Z+ was on your radar- during my fitting the results were more than surprising. It won't beat the shape of the TW (that thing looks sweet) but the results were not bad. I think Tai also tested it in his shoot out with some favorable results as well. Either way, you have quite a few very nice options to choose from.

I always forget about the Fly-Z+. My buddy has one and I probably should have hit it. It honestly doesn't excite me too much looks wise. I might need another look at it though. Thanks

Shape of TW Vapor is eerily reminiscent of Ignite 410 tour issue I had at one time. The shape/profile of that driver and t60 fairway seem to be recurring themes in bag preferences of Tiger Woods.

So I booked my trackman session and decided to do a 3D AMM KVEST Motion Capture analysis. Won't be for the 2nd week of July. Never did one, don't know what to expect. But should be fun!

I have issues. I also have a Nike Vapor Flex on the way. So now I have 4 drivers in the mix. This should be interesting.

Looking back over the last year I have lowered my handicap by 4 strokes and I am actually struggling with ball striking and driving this year. I would say this time last year I was a better driver of the ball and striker with my irons. I was longer off the tee last year too. With the weird injury to my back and one too many burritos, my speed has really slowed down. Could be just getting older too. My short game has improved tremendously this year. Despite the fact I am hitting it pretty bad things are starting to come around with my swing change. Once I get the swing dialed in I expect nothing but career low rounds and venture into the scratch / + handicap realm. I am about 90% dialed in setup wise and want to get the best out of my driver which has been my weakness. I am extremely low launch with moderate to high spin. I have a few different combo's to try and help maximize my distance. Combo's I am trying these next few weeks:

Vapor Oven Pro - Fujikura Tour Spec 63x tipped 1"
TW Vapor Speed - Diamana Whiteboard 73x tipped 1"
R15 TP set at 9.5 set +2* - Fujikura 661 x stock
Vapor Flex set at 12* - Diamana Blue Board 63x tipped 1"

I can say the same thing about the driver. I've had roughly four years of driving the ball well (a few bad rounds but not many) only to see it vanish. I have no idea if driver is going to stay in play when I swing it right now.

Can't wait to see the Trackman results.
