Olympic Club in San Francisco today. Sorry Nike. The D4 got the TW beat. Wow. Still going to test a little more as it seems the TW is more forgiving. But when it's 13 yards behind its hard to justify. Longest drive of the day was 342.

I would go with the AP2s. More forgiving. The TPs aren't far behind it though and really look great at address. You really can't go wrong either way but the AP2s are slightly more forgiving. I prefer the feel on the TPs and love the look at address. Reason I switched is the AP2s just flat out perform better on mishits. Hope that helps

Not yet. Going to do that sometime next week if possible. Same shaft in both. Diamana whiteboard. Curious to see what is causing the D4 to be longer.

Tried the 460 indoors on Trackman. IMO, best Taylormade driver to date. The sound is nice, but not Nike Flex nice:) It did not beat my Cobra but it was pretty impressive. That D4 of yours might be hard to beat...
Also tried the 716 CB btw...Wow. They look stunning in person. Solid iron but I am not sure I liked the shaft. Are you thinking about the 716CB,716 AP2s or the PSI Tour?

I definitely will be trying. Seems like the feedback initially with the CBs is great. I was actually excited to try the PSi tours but after finding out they seem to be smaller than the RSI TPs I might just be sticking with the 716 lines. Thing is which one? I think that the RSI tp was my favorite iron this year with the AP2s being a close second. That being said I need some extra forgiveness as my ball striking could be better, hence everything points me in the direction of 716AP2.

Psi tour are too small according to what I am hearing. Psi has too much offset. Seems like they are out of picture. I am most intrigued by the AP2, T-MB. Okay now I'm getting juiced. I need some damn equipment changes.

I got that small itch too. I know I will get another 58* wedge but I am also thinking of maybe a new driver...or driver shaft...

Cota - normally WITB pics don't sway me to make a purchase, but the RSI TP's did. I ended up picking up a set and put them into play during my clubs Ryder Cup event vs. another local club. I am glad I went with my gut and purchased these irons because they are great. Coming from s55's I had high expectations. They had very little offset, the black lines on the face weren't really noticable and if they were they helped square up the face better, and the performance was there all weekend. These irons are the real deal and for all this time I always thought they were crap after hitting the MC's last year. Wow was I wrong

I had great numbers with an X version tipped 1" at the Oven. At the time I was moving the club around 110 mph. I had better numbers with that vs

At the time I had was delofting the driver a lot but it gave me good launch and spin was around 2300 or so if I remember correctly.

Now I am moving the club 116-118mph and my launch has improved. I would not fit myself in that shaft right now as when my back healed and my ss picked up it gave me the worst numbers. Now I am strictly a Diamana WB player.

So I would say if you move the club around 110 and are a low launch player that holds the shaft was a negative angle of attack it might be a great shaft. The profile is similar to the WB but I would say the WB holds up better at higher ss

Thanks Dre. On Trackman my SS is consistently between 105-110mph. I like the WB feel but my fitter thinks the Fuji Pro in an X (not tipped) would be best given my tempo and aggressive down swing. My attack angle is between -1.8 and +1.0 and usually hit a 5-15 yds cut although the last couple times I have been out I have been hitting more straight balls vs cuts.
Definitely not up to the beastly 116-118 mph your are moving the big stick Sincerely glad to hear your back is better! My apologies for the minor thread jack but I truly appreciate the insight. It is looking like a Fuji Pro 73 TS in an X might be in my future:) Thanks again!
