Damn, gone almost full Titleist now with exception of wedges and putter, which is a bit odd with as popular as Vokey and Scotty are, but  the MD5 and Toulon Portland are fixtures .

Got crazy on the Titleist woods with AD DI

TSR4 driver 6s

TSI3 3/5 7s

TSR2 7w 7s

i actually enjoy hitting all my woods now, hybrids are out.

Awesome setup. How do all these gap for you on the course? And how does the tsr4 go versus the strong 3w? Love this setup. Would love to hear more about it.

Thanks.

I am not a long hitter, so extra club in the top part of bag.

The main reason for the 4, hate the size and shape of most woods, best looking driver head I have seen, keep heavy weight back, also just got a Ventus Red for it to get a bit more launch, haven’t tested yet. The TSi3 3w is easily the longest 3w I have hit, 240 off the deck a couple times.

driver is around 260, 3w 230-240, 5w 215/220, 7w out to about 210, can choke up a bit if I need a 195 shot, then to my T300 5 iron, which is 180/190. Everything gaps well on course , really love the setup.

I still have a little tinkering to do with driver since new shaft arrived and ordered some heavier weights from BB, excited for the season.

Looking at it I’m probably about 10 yards on top of your lowest/highest number. With still recovering from wrist surgery can’t swing for probably another 6-8 weeks but researching feedback all I can. The 4 is so tempting. I wonder with the extra 10 yards if I could get away with either the tsr3 in anything from 13.5-16.5 then tsr2 7 wood. Or go with 5 wood in tsr2 and 3w in the 13.5 or 15. They look so good. I just want that second club to be magical in the sense that it’s going to be more of scoring club but also have to be able to hit high and hit low. The tsr3 4 wood may be able to do both and then 7 wood would be next but I need it to do both as well. I have Nike be pro limited 5 wood at 19 degrees in bag and she’s been there a while! Cheers Warrick thanks for the feedback

  • 2 weeks later...

I made a couple changes just prior to the season.

Ventus Red in TSR4, it’s an 8 degree, but don’t want to turn it up more than .75, so looking for more launch, 27 holes in, seems like an ideal fit.

I just don’t hit the 5 iron with confidence, so ordered a TSR3-24* hybrid with AV Blue X-Link.

Lastly, ordered 8-G in T100S to go with T200 6/7. I like more compact heads, but stronger lofts work well, almost went full T100s when I ordered T200, but was in a funk ball striking, but as usual was a flaw I developed, so feeling excited about these in the scoring irons.

What does the red give you that the DI didn’t?

Oh you changed the weight setup?

I hate light heads, start swinging out of control, had dual sliders in my last 2 drivers, original Epic and 2015 GBB, so I am now at about the same head weight as those 201-202, just the head.

I have a 13 back 5 front set up now, am going to try 11/7 also.
