I finally caved and ordered two dozen. In the U.K. that was £100 which equates to the princely sum of $143. I held off as long as I could. I doubt I'll ever use them though. They'll probably sit in the wardrobe alongside the RZN Protos

I have some of the clapping hands, the RM5, and a few others, not sure if I want to use them. Maybe i will save a sleeve of each special edition and use the rest.

Got to finally game my VFP 3i in Georgia this last week. Absolutely love it.

 

The sound the ball makes off the face is awesome and the graphite shaft makes it very easy to get up in the air. Have to practice it more off the deck, but for what I bought it for (option off the tee), it is awesome.

Guys help me out... Yesterday I finally got my Fly Pro outside at the range. The sound this thing makes is so ear piercing I'm questioning keeping it. I thought the Pro was supposed to have a nice "crack" sound, and mine is definitely not that.

Wasn't that a strange marketing move by Nike on the global venue the Masters is? Honestly, Kobe isn't that big (to the golfing crowd) in many countries outside the U.S, where basketball isn't necessarily a big sport. Even less well-known is the connection to gold. Also, how sincere does the marketing message seem when a Northern Irishman, regardless of sponsor, is paying his tributes to a basketball legend? Rory has surely been to a couple of NBA games, but the (global) Rory brand doesn't really scream basketball fan. At least not to the non-US spectators. Nike paying tribute to Kobe is a given, but choosing Rory to front it..? Well, what do I know?

It's a global Nike event, over 200 athletes are paying tribute to Kobe. Rory was just the first to do so, it started that Thursday (ends 4/13), coincidentally it was the Masters and a big event.

 

A lot of athletes in this video from all sports are paying tribute.

first one 260 yards dead straight

second one pure 250 carry into a pot bunker

third one shank onto the other course

forth one on the reload pure 250 ish down the middle...

Have you tried the Flex 440? Maybe that's the sound you're looking for. Or maybe try hot melting your Fly Pro.

I like those Lesmond! Wouldn't bother me at all to play golf in that shoe........I like the black/white and blue/black colorways as well.

 

I could wear them as an everyday shoe as well, would be a great fit with a pair of jeans.

I love mine, went from last years Vapor Pro to this year's standard Fly. Longer, more forgiving, and an all around rocket launcher with my black tie X on it. My miss is usually off the toe, and toe shots fly straight without a huge distance loss, maybe 20 yards, so for me its the club.

I put a recoil 110 in my VFP 3i. Going to build a 2i next week.
