Man kinda bummed.... After a LONG range session at the OVEN today (posted about in NIKE 2016 thread) I have noticed that I think my AM90's in black are doing the same as Lesmonds.....

 

Will get pics tomorrow to tired tonight. But it looks like they are and I bought them from a member on here and when I got them they were literally brand new no wear showing. But I have already put a round walking and 3 range sessions on them not and it appears to be doing the same.

 

Am I just going to have to deal with it since I am not the original purchaser of the shoes? Or can they be sent back to NIKE by me?

 

I love these shoes and it sucks this is happening.

lol, I guess you guys don't appreciate quality like I thought you would, oh well that's okay

 

Nike makes plenty of quality shoes, top tier as a matter of fact. They just have a ton of models, and not all work for everyone. When you release this many variations, bound to have an issue here and there, and some that don't care for all of them.

 

I returned a few pairs that did not have the right fit, but you would have a hard time telling me about better shoes than the FI Premiere for a spiked and the LF1 in a spikeless. Waterproof, awesome looking shoes, very comfortable, and priced below almost any Ecco.

A quick question on these Lunar Fire's. Are they the same type of fit as the Zoom Attack, or are they more in line with the Premiere's and LF1's.

 

I had the Zoom Attack, but sent back due to the longer, more narrow fit.

I'd say yes, similar to the Fires. I ordered the Attacks and Fires in my normal size 11.5 and am stuck with in the Attacks with a shoe too long in the toe. Fortunately I ordered my Fires through Nike so they replaced them with 11 no problem.

My local Nike clearance store had them, they were $89. But no use for me, never rains here and don't play in wet weather.

Got my Jade AM90s yesterday and love them.

 

Agree they are a b**** to get on and off, but I think that will loosen a bit over time as I think my Air Max Zero's started like that as well.

Once on they are extra comfortable.

I'm glad the colourway is grey instead of white based on others' experience with dirt on the infrareds.

 

I'll apply some protector prior to taking it out, but I think you just need to live with it not being pristine once you start playing in them.

I'll be using these as my knock abouts as they feel really comfortable to leave on post round.

The difference between the Chukkas and the other mesh offerings is that the Chukka is a Flyknit. Being able to mingle colors together in a heather effect on the flyknit takes away the worry about them looking dirty and worn.

I saw posts where guys said they are putting repellant on their Infrareds but exactly what kind are you using? Lesmond, how are yours still holding up? I've had mine for a week now and haven't even taken them out the box. SMH!

Did you apply protector to yours before you took them out?

 

I've sprayed on 3 layers so far and probably won't take them out to the course until Saturday.
