Got my Jade AM90s yesterday and love them.

 

Agree they are a b**** to get on and off, but I think that will loosen a bit over time as I think my Air Max Zero's started like that as well.

Once on they are extra comfortable.

I'm glad the colourway is grey instead of white based on others' experience with dirt on the infrareds.

 

I'll apply some protector prior to taking it out, but I think you just need to live with it not being pristine once you start playing in them.

I'll be using these as my knock abouts as they feel really comfortable to leave on post round.

 

Dirt will be your best friend in light colored toe box area's on these shoes.

 

Did you apply protector to yours before you took them out?

 

I've sprayed on 3 layers so far and probably won't take them out to the course until Saturday.

 

Yup. Pretty much every golf shoe I own. Only did a double coat.

 

Still got dirty. LOL. White toe box after all.

Yep, did a double coat on mine and same result. Still look like a total baller in them so I will get over it.

I did something similar. I grabbed the Chukkas and a roll of athletic tape for $5 since I didn't really need anything else. I am absolutely in love with the Chukkas. Comfy and look really dope. Hit the range this AM and have been wearing them all day. They have broken in really well.

 

My LC4s are still going to be my go to for walking a round. I could see getting an ankle blister if I were to walk 18 in the chukkas.

I got a pair for $60 shipped on the bay, it's better than wasting my time and gas driving around, which I already did 2 times, hit up all of the mentioned discount places and no lunars or tw in my size

First 2 are before a quick clean with a club brush (very lightly).

 

I'm happy with how they held up.

 

Again happy they are grey in the toe box rather than white.

 

Shoe protector seems to have helped.

 

So comfortable to wear. Getting easier to put on as well.

Anyone know where to get a pair of the Lunar Bandon 3's?

 

You can find some around but they were pulled from shelves.

 

My local Nike clearance store had them, they were $89. But no use for me, never rains here and don't play in wet weather.

 

Any details why they were pulled? Just out of season? I saw in the catalog that the black color way was listed as a 7/1 release and a white version (which I would really like to get) is listed as a 9/1 release.

 

I was hoping to potentially get a deal on them as I play just enough in bad weather to make them worth and have a Bandon trip coming up that I would like to have them for as well.

 

Might just have to wait for the 9/1 release.

Wore my Infrareds out again today and got a huge black dirt/mud mark on the toebox and was pleasantly surprised when Jason Markk got it all out with ease.

Anyone else play the fly knit elite? I have done one round - took a couple of holes to adjust but find them very stable and allow for a solid platform and dynamic swing. Really enjoy them - great work Nike.
