Finally...a Golf Tour for guys like me...

I clicked on this thinking it would be about the amateur golf tour. I played with a couple of guys who were part of that one time. As they told me about it it seemed like they thought it was really cool. As I listened to them, it seemed to me that it really wasn't!

If they've been around since 2006 and we haven't heard about them
til now that confirms they also have a mediocre marketing department.

Their tournaments might be scary good. No one will know who won.

Had a communication with the local chapter about signing up for next season. Several "tournaments" take place in the area. The golf buds and I are going to give it a go next year, at least one event, to see what its all about. Sounds like fun though. A Tourney for Hackers.

They have a Chi town chapter, DP. You could be the Furyk of the MGA tour. Argonne could dress like his favorite KLPGA player( knee highs would be the staple of the ensemble obviously ). It would be fantastic.

Well, I do have the same follicle challenge as Mr. Furyk with an ugly swing but lack the hot spouse and significant accumulated wealth. Come to think of it, if the wealth was there I'm rather sure the hot spouse would follow regardless of the follicle follies.

I know a couple guys that play in the PHX chapter they love it. Just a ton of fun for guys who shoot 80-100+. Obviously they don't take themselves seriously. Well run and i crack up when they present the big tour style check for $.001 after the tourney.

I've played in two as guests of my buddies, its well run and they have a blast out there. Plus ive won a bunch of skins with pars lol

I've played in the Oakland chapter the last two seasons and it's a blast. alot of drinking but we do absolutely play by the rules. I've met some really cool people, I even qualified to play in a Ryder cup style event Oakland vs SF. (Oakland won ofcourse) Tournaments are once per month at courses around your local area, we tend to have about 25-30 guys at each event. The winner of our last tournament shot an 86 with the last place guy 110. There's a chapter "money list as well as a global one. MGA has chapters in Ireland and I believe Australia. They have a big end of the season 2 day event in Vegas each year. I havent gone to that yet but I've heard stories and it's on my to do list.
