I was on the app right at 9am and picked my size hit purchase and was pending. Now everything sold. What a crock of S**T

Yeah I physically had the app open and saw it change on the screen from “coming soon” to “$220” and clicked and nada. Bots are killing everything. StockX has destroyed the sneaker game on basically all levels.

To be fair, Nike is propagating this problem. They could easily solve this if they wanted to.

You all don't understand how purchasing on Nike works.  They are doing a mini raffle during that time it says pending just like SNKRS. Speed and how fast you enter has nothing to do with it.

Manual users have little chance on hyped drops these days.

I'm sorry but you're just wrong about this.  I got the Seersucker 4s and the 4s today manually.

Or you mean that's what they have you believing....

Nope. I buy enough shoes on SNKRS/Nike to know it doesn't matter. The account I won on today wasn't the first entry I put in today. It's my real Nike account that I've had for years. I've won SNKRS draw when I opened the app with 1 minute left too

I am not going to argue about this on here, but to say your 1 win versus everyone else's L is validation that manual users have better than a minute chance is lunacy.  I am glad you were able to cop, but that doesn't change the shear numbers...  Based on what you wrote above you have numerous accounts, while the large majority of people have only 1, that right there puts you at an advantage over "normal" manual users.

I think that’s mostly true. For the non-draw releases you probably have about a minute or so to get in the “pending” line.

on snkrs I copped the flint 13s (not a draw release) after taking about 5 min to get in line due to “payment issues”

There are bots out there for Nike but not sure how effective they are.  Probably the main way resellers are successful is by having a lot of proxy accounts to increase the number of entries and the odds of hitting. My guess is the most successful people have 100s of accounts running each release. That’s probably where the bots help

This is exactly what bots are. Automated accounts (hundreds, even thousands) that auto purchase the sneaker. The fact that the manual user has usually a single account or maybe 1-5. If you don't think bots with thousands of entries in your "mini raffle" the guy above mentioned makes a difference, you're kidding yourself.

I'd say that botting is a shear odds things, increasing the chances of getting it. As for non-raffle products, they can checkout far faster than any human input, regardless of the purchase method. Nike and SNKRS both have the same issue. Nike app might be slightly better but I don't think it's a raffle, more so a who can get in line the fastest type of thing. It also depends on the perceived re-sale of products too. Most bots aren't going to go in on a product that they don't think they will make a decent profit from. That is why I'm surprised that the bots actually go for the golf shoes because, I think most golfers spend enough money on the rest of their products, they aren't going to be so inclined to buy re-sale prices. Seems like a bad area for resellers to believe they can make a profit in. Especially since, they will be sitting on that inventory for a long time without being able move or use it themselves if they aren't golfers.

As for those U.S. Open Jordan IV, I NEED them.

LEO releases on the Nike app is still a quick draw.  They will bot if it even makes them $25 after fees.  Those guys just like to show off that they have it even if it's losing money on an item.

I'm kinda surprised the blue pair of Jordan IVs is getting more love than the Masters pair.

As someone who wears the shoes I buy, I don’t want to wear a pair that has foil flake off after the first few wears. The same went for the safari 11s. The foil came off and they were a different shoe.

But the plastic under the tee foil on the 11’s was clear plastic. So it looked like crap when the foil flaked off. They have gotten a little smarter since then and the plastic under the foil on the masters 4 is at least green so it’s not as noticeable when the foil flakes off
