I have been impressed with Bryson's mental makeup. I would not be shocked to see a top 5 this weekend from him.

 

Have to agree. Doesn't seem to be overwhelmed.

 

Fox should never, ever be criticized again simply for bringing us TRACKMAN on the tee shots. I will forever give them a pass.

After a terrible U.S. Open setup last year at Chambers Bay by the USGA, the setup at Oakmont is perfect.

They will start round three today and finish tomorrow morning then start the final round Sunday afternoon and hope to get it all in. Round 3 will be groups of 3 and split tees if I recall correctly.

I'm from PA, near philly, the state is very different. Each area is remarkably different than the others. Although, the whole state is full of very knowledgeable sports fan, even the occasional idiots you see make headlines. Western PA, around Pittsburgh, has a more Midwest feel. You get what you work for and love thy neighbor. Good folks, on the western side, making for an excellent gallery. Only noticeable downside, they root for the Penguins.
