Cog Hill in November - weather?

Flying to a one day conference in Chicago. Was going to try and squeeze in a round at Cog Hill in the first week in November. Has the weather turned by then? Is is hard to get on there?

It shouldn't be a problem getting on at that time. The weather is a crap shoot. Last year I played into mid December. November was quite nice, relatively speaking. However, in 2013 and 2014 the season ended in early November.

^^^^This. Plus, check when the Dubsdread course (#4) closes. While you can play the other courses all year long, I'm pretty sure #4 gets shut down for winter.

Weather can be anything from 30s, rainy and windy, to 60s and sunny. It's also dark by between 5 and 6 by then, so keep that in mind for afternoon rounds. Here's a combo pic I took last year when I played on Oct 24. It was still very green and there are still leaves on most the trees, but you can see it's starting to get bare, and I'd think 2 weeks after this would have been quite different. November can still be a good time to play out here, but you might have to pick your spots if you're not accustomed to cold weather play.

yea november can be mild for most part and cold another week. Can't really be sure. Ive seen alot of mild days in november though

I played Dubs once, 10/18/13, it was 40 degrees and raining, the greens were punched and the price was still $155.

They are aerating Dubs next week, so I expect the greens to have healed by early November. I called and they said Dubs will be open dependent on the weather, but that last year it played through Thanksgiving.

Last year they discounted green fee to $100 after they aerated. We played a few weeks after they punched and the holes still impacted putts. Still worth playing for $100.
