  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I have never been fit :(
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf With a question like this, a lot of different emotions and thoughts roll through my mind, but the most prevalent reasons are 1) I am in dire need of a true fitting. I dont really have great access to a good fitting where I am. 2) I am very interested in trying out the TM line; however, I dont feel the Dick's by me would be a great representation of what is available with the clubs when properly fit. I do not have any Golf Store, Fitter, or big box retailer other than DSG by me and so I always have to guess & order online. 3) I'd love the experience & I would love the education I would receive hitting balls in front of the very team that outfits the best in the world. I am not at all afraid of social media or sharing my experience with the others within this community and encouraging them with the good news this fitting would likely be in results to my bag and my game.

Current irons. Taylormade 2011 MC/MB combo KBS tour stiff shafts

I was not fit for these irons.

I would love to attend this even for a multitude of reasons, I was recently fitted for a driver and have reaped the benefits of this. I would love to see where my game could go with irons fit perfectly for me. This would also be a once in a lifetime experience. Plus I would very much look forward to spending time with and getting to know fellow WRXers. Also who wouldn't want a trip to SoCal.

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) : Callaway X22 Tour TT DG X100 +1 inch 1.5 degree upright

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? : yes, golf galaxy Berwyn PA / December 2008

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf : Since I am left handed, 6 foot 4 inches, with larger hands there is nothing standard about my clubs. My last fitting was almost 10 years ago, and I really feel I could get so much value out of a true master fitting. Could change everything.

USGA Handicap: 2

Clapped out Mizuno Mp-53's, TT Dynamic Gold S300, standard length.

Was not fit for the irons because they were purchased off eBay.

I would love to get the chance to have the right shafts and lie angle in irons because i never have. I love the feel of a blade-like forged head but my current iron shafts feel a bit like el dente noodles. Also, my current irons have virtually no grooves left so I hit a lot of low spinning knuckle balls.

TaylorMade Golf launched the P750 and P770 forged Irons earlier this year and our GolfWRX team spotted P790 long irons being tested on Tour recently, as well as DJ teasing us with some new P730 forged irons. Could these last two models round out the 2017 TaylorMade P700 forged Iron family?

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - There are a couple of reasons, but first would be to see how much difference a club fitting could make for my scoring and help me break 80 for the first time ever. Second, now that Nike is out of the club manufacturing business I need to find my next go to brand for all future club purchases and I've never hit a Taylormade club before. • Current USGA handicap is a 6.8
  • I game Mizuno MP-59's 4-PW with KBS Tour X-flex shafts, standard lie and length.
  • I was fit back in 2012 for my MP-59s at the PGA Superstore in myrtle beach. Not the most comprehensive fitting. We got lie, length, and flex but didn't actually look at any numbers when deciding on what shaft. The KBS felt the best and I didn't know any better back then so I went with it.
  • I would love to attend this event for too many reasons to type in a reasonable amount of time. My irons are reaching the end of their gaming life, and these new Taylormades have been on my watch list as I've started looking at irons to choose from for my next set. I have also never attended a fitting with someone who was enthusiastic and knowledgable about what they were doing, and not just a retail zombie, so I would love having my mind blown by someone who loves golf as much as I do. The chance to see Taylormade's HQ has my inner fanboy squealing in delight and dragging up old and new memories of all the clubs I've played from them, from my old Tour Burner woods and Superdeep driver, to my Tour Preferred wedges and Spider Tour Red putter. Lastly on my much shortened list of reasons I want to experience this event, I've only recently dropped my lurker status on this site and begun to participate and I very much want to give back to this community that has given so much to me already. I want to experience this event, and then share it with the rest of the community like I've enjoyed from previous event's winners.

Thank you Taylormade and GOLWRX!

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific)

Taylormade Rocketbladez tour with KBS C-Taper stiff standard loft and lie

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?

No, only fitting I've ever done was for a putter about 2 weeks ago at cool clubs in Scottsdale AZ.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf

I'd like to attend this event at Taylormade because it is an exclusive opportunity to get fit by the leader in golf technology and equipment at the best fitting facility in the world. I have done all of my clubfitting myself up to this point with the exception of my putter witch I just had fitted a couple weeks ago. I have had several friends get fitted with different results. One told me that it was a must to get fit while another said that he got fit at Ping and everything was standard so he felt like he wasted his time and money. I currently play the new M1 driver and M1 hybrid and just got the M2 tour 3 wood so i am verry familiar with how taylormade equipment performs. I have narrowed my iron choices to the p770/750 or the srixon z945. Being able to have these irons fit for my game at the "kingdom" would be an incredible experience and one that could have an impact on my golf game for several years to come. What an awesome opportunity, thanks to taylormade and golfWRX for putting this together. Who ever the lucky ones are will have a once in a lifetime experience. Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks, Alex

Fitting works! My initial fitting cut my handicap from a 20 to a 12. It's been hard work from there. It would be interesting to see if the fitting magic and new technology can now work another 40% off my handicap. It would be an honor to participate in this experience and help spread the word to golfers about TaylorMade's new technology and the benefits of getting fit. I have a "full bag" of questions that will help serious golfers improve their games if you can provide the answers. I'm ready to be a part of the TaylorMade team.

PS - I'll be out that way next week. Can I come visit?

-Current irons are Taylormade Tour Preferred MB 14's 4-pw. Standard Length and Lofts, except I play all my irons 1.5* flat. Shafts are True temper Dynamic gold x100 tour issue. I also carry a 2 and a 3 iron. My 3 iron is a Taylormade PSI also with a tour issue x100 shaft and my 2 iron is a Taylormade UDI 18* with a Kbs 130x.

-I got fit for my irons at cool club in Scottsdale, Arizona in early of 2015.

-To be able to have the opportunity to receive an iron fitting from the best in the business at the Taylormade forged experience would be a golf memory that will last a lifetime. I've owned every set of clubs from A to Z and would thrive to give Taylormade the best feedback possible. I'm a college student and could really use a good excuse to take some time off. Not to mention who doesn't love the look of the new P-730's in DJ's bag! I would like to also thank the Golfwrx community and Taylormade for this opportunity.

Current USGA handicap:

  • 1.1

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific):

  • TaylorMade UDI 1 iron - KBS C-Taper Tour (2 iron stiff Flex) total club length is 41" - Midsize Lamkin Crossline ACE 3Gen grips
  • Fourteen Type 7 3 iron - KBS C-Taper Tour (2 iron S+ single soft step) total club length is 40" - Midsize Lamkin Crossline ACE 3Gen grips
  • TaylorMade UDI 5 iron - KBS C-Taper Tour (4 iron S+ single soft step) total club length is 39" - Midsize Lamkin Crossline ACE 3Gen grips
  • Titleist AP2 714 6-P irons - KBS C-Taper Tour (S+ single soft step) descending by 1/2" increments - Midsize Lamkin Crossline ACE 3Gen grips

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?

  • I was NOT professionally fit for my clubs. I hand build all of my own clubs based on feel and trial and error performance testing. Which includes rough spinning, re-shafting, and gripping. I'll occasionally have my loft and lies checked and adjusted at my club if my ball flight does feel right or my divots are off. Whats funny is that I work in the Tech Industry but I don't really take advantage of the technology out there to fit my clubs...

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf

I'd really like to attend this event for a number of reasons:

  • I'm a tinkerer and going to TaylorMade's facilities in Carlsbad would be like a kid going to the best toy store in the world!
  • I'd really like to see how far off my trial and error fitting is compared to a technology driven professional fitting.
  • I'd love the opportunity to talk with club designers about how clubs are designed and the process taken to go from ideation to the retail market.
  • Lastly...It would just be cool and all my friends and family would be sooooooo jealous!

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf. Man what a amazing opportunity. I love Muscleback Irons. When I was young all there was blades and very small cavity back irons. There is nothing better than striking a pure forged muscleback. Would be amazing to see all that Taylormade good stuff. Thanks for the chance.

Taylormade PSI forged irons 4-pw

Taylormade mc 3 iron 1 degree less loft

I was unfortunately not fit by anyone. But i would not mind it one bit. Hint.... hint..... hint. Truly think that I should be hitting my clubs with a different shaft option. It would be nice to really dial it in.

Feel like if you chose me to join you in California to test out these new clubs I could give you the most ultimately awesome review of how the whole experience went. I'd bring my field notes and jot down notes and other tid bits to ad to my review. I've got an iPhone 7 to take crispy clear photos and videos. I'm on Snapchat Facebook instagram where I could post daily when I'm out in California with the taylormade team. Then with all my findings I'll use my wealth of knowledge of building / fixing clubs, hitting clubs pure and not pure, metal werks, fabricating stuff, Car diagnosis , tire slinging and being an all round nice guy I'll write up an awesome review of how everything went down at the kingdom.

Twimc

Thank you for the submission
