Current handicap-9.7

Current irons/shafts- Nike VR pro blades +2 deg upright s400 shafts 1 inch short

Fitting? Never been fit, just trial and error. Actually built these irons my self.

I have always wanted a fitting and feel I would greatly benefit. Don't trust local fitters that they would be accurate/not willing to bet my money on their advice, my current set works great, but I'm a golf/ equipment junkie and would love this opportunity. Huge Taylormade fan

What are your current irons and shafts- Mizuno MP 15 4-PW w/ KBS C Taper Lite 115 XStiff

Were you fit for your current irons? No

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf- Would love to get custom fit for a set of TaylorMade irons. Have never been fit for irons, just played what felt the best. Have been playing the TM M2 driver and TM Spider putter and have loved every shot hit with each so would like to see what it would be like to make a switch into their irons!

Thanks for this opportunity!

Current handicap- probably around an 8'ish. No current HC established (been as low as 2.3)

Current irons/shafts- Titleist AP1; KBS Tour C-taper 120 S

Fitting? I was fit by Kevin Bleiler, here in Dallas, TX

Reason: I used to be a competitive golfer but after going to grad school, focusing on career and having kids my ability to play and practice has dropped off substantially. Kids are now at the age where I am trying to get back into playing more and I have had index down to 5.6 in the past two years. Another hiatus has pushed it back up. Have played forged in the past but am now playing more game improvement. Would like to get back to forged clubs and being properly fit would really help my game. I would be a great story for the "average" golfer who might show substantial improvement with the right setup.

  • Yes, I was fit for my irons in 2010 at newton golf centre in newton NJ
  • My current irons have been great but I am slowly coming to the point where they are beginning to get outdated or worn down a little too much. As a result, i am in the market for new irons. One of my best friends currently plays on the mini tours and hasnt looked back since making the switch to taylormade. I'd love to get a proper fitting and see your irons for myself.

What are you current irons and shafts (be specific) -Mizuno JPX-900 Forged (3* upright and 1 inch long); KBS Tour C-Taper S

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where/when? - Yes, fall of 2016 at Club Champion in Orlando, FL

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - In a word, curiosity. I've been playing for 7+ years now. Last fall I was fit into my current irons and it was my first experience with club fitting. Before the fitting I was excited to try TaylorMade irons since I had TM woods and was using a set of hand-me-down Titleist blades as my irons. The experience at Club Champion was great, but I must admit I was disappointed in the TM PSI line of irons (the only TM irons available at my fitting). I ended up going with the Mizuno JPX and have been extremely pleased. My scores have dropped significantly and my ball striking has been the best of my career. Shortly after my purchase, I saw the release of the TM P-700 line. It is a very attractive and sharp looking club and of course I love the forged feel. I'm curious to see if these irons can outperform my current set up. I'm curious to see if I had had the chance to try them at Club Champion, would I still walk away with the Mizunos? I would love the opportunity to not only try out the irons, but also the experience of being fit into a set of irons by the people who designed them. I won't go so far as to compare it to being taught how to paint by Michaelangelo or how to play piano by Mozart, but it's close. Maybe more like being taught how to throw a curveball by Clayton Kershaw. Thanks for the opportunity to apply!

  • Current USGA handicap - Current GHIN handicap is 5.1

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - Currently I am playing Titleist AP2 714 Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X 100 in irons and Titleist SM6 Wedges 46- 60 with Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 in wedges all lofts/length standard with 1* upright

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? - I was fit for my Irons by Master Club Builder in the Los Angels Area (Jeff Sy) He works with many Pga, Lpga and Asian tour players this was back in fit in the Summer of 2013. I was fit for my Wedges at Titleist TPI in Oceanside in April of 2016

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - I would love to attend this event as I am kind of a gear head and love the all aspects of the fitting process. I talk and have gotten friends to get fitted for their clubs. Most recently while at Reynolds a friend got fitted at the Kingdom for all his woods and was appreciative of me pushing him to do so. How the shafts and heads marry is very interesting to me and I am always researching on new technology and how it may benefit not just myself but my buddies that play golf. I don;t change irons that often and have been playing the same irons for almost 4 years. I think I would be a good candidate for this experience as I love to be detailed in my examination and explanation of golf and new technology plus I am very interested to test the new TM forged iron offerings .

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf I've been fit multiple times and by fitters with varying degrees of experience and skill, based on where I ended up as well as the fitting experience itself. I'd love to be fit by someone that understands all facets at a high level: the product, my swing vs my golf goals, and what combinations work the best. I've churned through equipment through the years (as most of us have and continue to do) and I feel like I've just had so much trial and error that I'm not sure if I've adapted my swing or if the equipment actually fits me. I've never been loyal to one manufacturer but I do find myself with a history of Taylormade woods in my bag (noted club: 07 Burner TP...man, what memories!), but not the irons. With the intro of the 770s, I'm intrigued to see if TM has created an iron for someone like me. Great forged feel, technology that doesn't show (don't like the distraction of the face slots), and something that can rival the staying power of the brand in the iron category for me. Ok, that, and I'll be at Torrey Pines for a conference just a few days before so I'll be close!

Current Irons & Shafts = Taylor Made RSi TP Forged (4-PW)/Project X 6.0 Steel Shafts - 1 degree strong - Custom ordered from Taylor Made via Edwin Watts Golf Shop

Yes, I went through the fitting process with both Edwin Watts in Jacksonville, FL and the Taylor Made representative

It's a huge bucket list thing for me to visit a factory for a fitting and a tour. I play every week and working in the tech space, I am enamored with the evolution of golf technology in our modern era. I've predominately always played forged irons even as my handicap has creeped up and I've gotten older, I just have a preference for that feel. I grew up and learned the game on Wilson Staff Tour Blades, went to Staff Goosenecks, Mizuno Grads, and then for many years MPs. My first set of "non-blades" were the AP2s and the Taylor Mades I currently have my most recent set. I have been shopping recently and was looking at both the new Taylor Mades and the new Mizuno MP18s and JPX900 forged. That all being said, I would greatly appreciate this opportunity and welcome the opportunity to be a more active member on GolfWRX.

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Cobra Amp Pro combo set 4-PW, S-300 shafts, except for PW which is KBS Tour.

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I was not fit for these.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: Because Taylormade is the only other manufacture of golf clubs that I sit down behind the ball and say wow. I've been blown away by your clubs in the past, but have never owned one or gamed one. I believe being fit by your pros could and would take my game to the next level if given the opportunity. I would have no problem posting, and reviewing or even making a YouTube video course vlog giving them a proper review on cam and under pressure. Thank you for your consideration and God Bless.

My current irons setup is Nike Vapor Pro Combos 5-PW with the stock DG Pro R300 shafts.

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?

I was not fit for my current set. Previously I was fit at Von's golf in Seattle for loft/lie/flex for a set of 714 AP2s.

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf

This would be an awesome opportunity for many reasons. I have always been envious of the guys that get to go on these trips. The access to people that are in the know is amazing. It's obvious that the vendors roll out the red carpet for these events, and that would be a great experience.

I have also been skeptical about my past fittings. I have been fit by a professional fitter a few times. However, it was always off of mats. When I have been fit the fitter never had access to multiple shafts beyond the stock offering. I've been curious about if there was a shaft that was better suited to my swing. I havent been able to try different weights, flexes, materials, etc beyond what i can purchase on my own to try. With a fitting at the Kingdom i could walk away and know without a doubt that what i ended up with is the best option for me.

Was I Fit for these irons: No

Why I want to attend:I am an avid golfer who plays on various local, regional and national amateur tournaments, including golf channel amateur tour whenever I can. I love my results with my 2016 Taylormade M2 driver with Aldila rogue 70X shaft and I am committed to playing my best and the journey toward improvement in this game. I have a passion for golf and have played since i was in college. I am a a civil engineer by trade so I love the data, the numbers and the technical aspects of the game. I have never been thru a dedicated fitting so this would be an amazing experience for me! I like taking the guess work out of things and understanding true data as an explanation for what is happening in the golf swing. Thanks for your consideration!

Irons. I currently am playing Callaway X Hot irons, regular flex, graphite shaft.

I was fit for these irons at the Golf Mart in Rohnert Park (they have since moved to Santa Rosa), CA in 2014

I would love to have the opportunity to visit Taylor Made and most important get back to using the clubs I always liked. Being fitted properly is so valuable and I know I would benefit with the proper fitting. I am in the market for new clubs and Taylor Made is the direction I will go.
