What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - Cobra King Forged (4-GW), Oban 115 X shafts

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when - Yes. Club Champion in Bellevue, WA, in April 2017.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - The Kingdom looks like an incredible place. I've seen a lot of recent YouTube videos involving it and would value the opportunity to visit. I'd also like to compare my irons to some TaylorMade clubs to see whether I can get any more out of my game.

Playing PXG for over a year now I am always being asked about them and seeing a change in my bag would bring even more questions as to those and why the change. It would be a true game changer if I were to change to a "better" set.

TaylorMade Golf launched the P750 and P770 forged Irons earlier this year and our GolfWRX team spotted P790 long irons being tested on Tour recently, as well as DJ teasing us with some new P730 forged irons. Could these last two models round out the 2017 TaylorMade P700 forged Iron family?

TaylorMade wants to invite 6 GolfWRX forum members for an all-inclusive trip to The Kingdom in California to participate in the TaylorMade Forged Experience. Want to attend? Read how to apply below.

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf. I have been a Taylor Made fan for over 35 years. I had one of your Pittsburgh Persimmon Drivers. I have always had a Taylormade club in my bag as long as I have been playing. I would love to have the chance to be fitted by a professional that knows what they are doing. Age has not been good to me and my distance is shortening. Thank you for your consideration. Greg T.

1. Handicap: 12

2. Ping S55 +0.25 inches long 3 degrees upright. Dynamic gold S300. Pure grips with three wraps of tape

3. I was fit at a demo day at a course in Omaha, NE in May of 2013

4. I would like to be fit at TaylorMade for multiple reasons. Where I live in Iowa all of the outdoor demo days occur in spring when you've had little time to practice so this would be the perfect time of year for me to go through a fitting. I have not had the opportunity to go through an outdoor fitting with trackman or had the opportunity to try multiple shafts to see what is best for my swing. I am very intrigued by the new forged TaylorMade irons and woul love to make the change to a forged clubhead. It would be fantastic to go through a tour level fitting and leave knowing that you are playing with clubs that are truly fit to you and not just hear that the stock shaft looks like it fits you best.

Even if i am not chosen i already look forward to reading about the experiences of those who are picked. Thank you.

- What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Trident heads 4 - SW, Optimum Balance BD800 graphite shafts - regular flex.

- Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?: Yes. I was fit at Indoor Golf Links of America, Orland Park, IL in the mid 1990's

- State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I've always been a fan of TaylorMade equipment. As a recent retiree (who owned his own B2B multinational software business), I have plenty of time and energy to assist with your marketing efforts on this new line. I also am playing more than ever (118 rounds last year playing out of the Midwest) and will put the new equipment through its' paces. My reviews and analysis will be well grounded through experience.

Current irons- Taylormade rsi2 with regular flex stock graphite shafts

Off the rack clubs, no fitting

I would like to finally get fitted properly and avoid wasting so much on buying off the rack clubs in the search for more suitable irons.i play graphite but when I try other peoples steel shafts they feel great and the results good. I would be thrilled to have a real fitting experience.

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - Srixon Z-Star forged, Nippon Modus 1050GH, Stiff

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? - I was not fit for them, embarassed to say I haven't had an iron fitting in ~10 years

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - As mentioned above, I have not had the opportunity to be professionally fit for irons in a decade - despite knowing how it important it is, just hasn't risen to the top of the priority list with a 3 year old and 1 year old twins. After recently going through a professional driver fitting on TrackMan and being fit into a new TaylorMade M2 (10.5 Graphite Design MJ6), I am reminded of the significant impact a proper fitting can make (big improvement in results) and would welcome the chance to do the same with my irons. Thanks!

  • Current USGA handicap: 23.3
  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): 5-PW Bridgestone J40 DPC w/Project X 6.0, std length, 2* flat
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? Not these irons per say. Was fit at Mizuno fitting day for MP-15 then asked local golf community here in Houston for reviews/suggestions. Was a student at UH at the time so wanted to make sure these irons would be worth the purchase. Community member had both sets at the same specs and let me borrow to see which I liked. Bridgestone won and he sold them to me at a good price.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: Prior to owning the J40 irons I owned a set of Rocketbladez Tour and enjoyed them but was unable to get them bent to the 2* flat that I needed. Thought about trading for a forged set but ended up falling for the Bridgestone. Ever since then I've considered going back but never really liked the style of the irons inbetween the RBZ Tour I once had and the recent release. I'm sure most would look at my handicap and think I should look into GI irons but to me it's all about being comfortable with what i'm looking down at. With comfort comes confidence. That and it's primarily my driving game that currently needs work. I am in the process of starting my career as a small business relationship manager at a bank here in Houston and can definitely see a lot of golf outings in my future. I can only buy and tinker so much while on a budget so it would be an honor to be able to be custom fit just like those on tour.

Side note: Birthday is Sept. 3rd so to be chosen for this would be INSANE!!

Thank you for this opportunity and to those who win...I look forward to your reviews.

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: Would love the opportunity to do a full fitting by the guys who fit the pros, I am very particular about my equipment and never feel like I have enough time to make the right decision off a mat in an hour and end up testing one shaft at a time out on the course, which takes forever (currently doing this). It would be awesome to have a grass range and all the choices in the world, with the expertise of the best set of eyes on my swing. Also, all the WRX trips sound amazing. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I am a 16 year old Junior in High School, a competitive golfer and always looking to improve. 800 is my lowest JGS Ranking and working hard to crack the 500 barrier. All the iron sets I have played since I started were all forged irons including brands such as Honma, Tourstage, Titleist, Srixon, Mizuno, and of course Taylormade Golf. Currently I am playing a combo set and it seems to me that it would be a great idea to assemble a set from all the different models inside the P-700 family.

Let's be honest, It'd be the coolest thing since sliced bread to go to Taylor Made and get fit on sight by them and spend 3 days hanging out with 5 other WRX members. Plus to top it off, walk away with a set of Irons and any other goodies they throw your way and it's free! Anyone who says differently is lying ;)

Thanks TM & WRX

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - Titleist 716 AP1 4 iron w/ S300 AMT, 714 AP2 5-PW w/ KBS Tour X Soft Stepped once, 716 AP2 Gap Wedge w/ S300 AMT all irons 1 degree flat.

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? - Nope. I was fitted about 15 years ago for 2 degrees flat and standard length S300 Shafts. Since then I've just been experimenting and playing with whatever is working. Used the Mizuno shaft optimizer to come up with the KBS Tour X soft stepped.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - With my first child on the way in mid-December I am currently anticipating having less time, money and energy with which to tinker and work on my game for the foreseeable future. With that said, being fitted, and removing the gnawing suspicion in the back of my mind that I may not have exactly what I need in my bag to play my best, will allow me to focus my golf time and energy on practice, rather than searching for an equipment oriented fix. For all I know this could be the last set of new irons I receive for many years to come, so why not make it a properly fitted set that I can trust?! I would also enjoy the opportunity to connect with the WRX community further via liveblog, social media, and reviews - to this point I've only met a couple guys in person playing tournament golf here in CO.

Thank you for your consideration.

Unfortunately, the fitting fee was more expensive than I could afford so I avoided it. I live the look of the new TaylorMade range and would love to see the improvements a proper fitting could give me over my JPX 900 forged.

Were you fitted? Yes, at Totally Driven in Edina, MN

Why would I like to attend? I have worked with, sold, and been around Taylormade equipment my entire golf career. I recently graduated college and started my first full time job. I have dabbled in long drive and stay competitive in amateur events throughout the year. My first driver when I started playing competitively was a TM r510TP when I lived in Orange County, CA. I have been to the Kingdom once before and would absolutely be thrilled with a trip back to understand further the new 700 series irons. I come from a family of engineers, so any and all of the tech and processes behind clubs makes sense to me, and intrigues me profusely. It would be a pleasure to participate and be around the associated thread with this trip, and aid others in understanding what makes TM irons special.
