I once said a few things on this forum a year ago. Play a lot with buddies and am inherently sensitive about my game so have generally shied away from y’all. I feel like you guys can plays Callaway Tex hooked me up with an Apex Pro fitting at UMDGC via this forum, very appreciative of that. Love those irons. I will be buying the M4 soon after it comes out, twist face groupie. Heading to West Palm Beach for 126 holes over 4 days next weekend. Love golf to death. I sometimes peer into this thread and am amazed by the parallels of my MD golfing life. Kudos!!

 

PS - I once noticed City on the putting green at Turf Valley during a golf outing in late October on a bone chilling day. He was wearing shorts and cool socks.

i'll throw this out there: A good 2018 goal for tiger woods would be to make the ryder cup on points. not a captain's selection. considering he only has a year to do it, it's a high goal, but i feel like it's attainable

Hbd - NO ONE gives a shirt about your golf game. As long as your handicap is somewhat representative of your golf game, show up and play. 827 is like a 50 handicap and he shows up for everything.

 

Stix - as long as your caps are good, I like your team. Tough for low guys teamed up to go real low like fabbs team.

 

Kent - sometimes I totally use my fifth sense to pick a club. I think there's a lot of "beneath the surface" stuff that goes on in golf (more later, maybe). BTW, I don't have a sense of smell, so picking a club is my fifth sense.

 

I'm writing from the road back to bmore. Special lady is driving.

 

I've sort of clued a couple guys in on this, but my dad's lymphoma is back (not looking for "sorry to hear that"). As far as you guys are concerned, might be some extra trips to Maine this year and time away from golf for me.

 

In one story line, he gets the cancer knocked down by a different chemo then goes to Boston for some modern treatment where they take his blood marrow, do something to it, then put it back. But there's still a lot of unknowns.
