Considering a mixed set of 5-7 M3 irons & 8-AW P790. Anyone else thinking of this?

Close. I’m thinking of m3 5 and possibly 6 with 790 the test of the way.

Curious how the 3 wood and hybrid stack up? Any significant improvements in those clubs from your last set of woods?

I played Callaway Epic before these, not an M1 so have no idea of the comparison, but thie M3 rocks! The M3 hybrid and 3w blow away my old Epic's.... I can't even tell you how much more solid and further these ones go, but with the Tensei Blue shaft, my ball flight is much better; these go higher without ballooning. Just an all around great combo for my game.

Good to know! My 790s should be coming in this week and I'm tempted to get out and try the M3. I've used the M2 since 2016, but I'm thinking of going for adjustability this time around.

I think those who liked the 16’ M2 will like the M3. Very similar playing characteristics with adjustability but lower spin.

Anybody hit the M4 yet? Also, can anyone compare the stock Tensei/Atmos shafts in the M3/M4 to the PRO/Tour Spec upgrade shafts?

In your guys' opinions, what are some of the "deals" on shaft upgrade offerings for the TM woods and hybrids? I know I know it all depends on getting fitted, but what shafts are a steal at $100/$200?

The M3 dropped mail on my Epic.

Unlike a lot of you, I do not change or try shafts and clubs much so this set will probably be with me for a while.

Lol.

"Dropped mail on my Epic" and "be with me for awhile" must be a verrrrry relative term. Or our definitions of "awhile" must be vastly different. LOL

The M3 dropped mail on my Epic.

Lol.

Beat me to it. If he'd have said "R7 Quad" I'd have agreed. But if he played that for an entire season, I'm pretty sure that his statement is true. There are rounds I'll warm up with 5+ drivers and see which one I like for that day. Most of them older though. It usually comes down to should I trust an old friend or am I feeling enough love from one of the new strangers to risk it. If I'm between I'll drop the 5i and take both. Or a wedge. Or both to take 3 drivers, lol. Sometimes if the course is open and shorter I'll leave the 3w to take 4 drivers. This can keep going for a while but I never play without a putter. Although one of my LD drivers is the same loft as my putter, so I could potentially leave it at some point. I'd have to REALLY be feeling it warning up though.

Sweet set up if I must get back to the topic at hand. I love TM drivers. I was extremely disappointed with the new M3. I'll give it more chances but the Rogue I was hitting was superior in every way. I'm uncomfortable with that but I got my new Rogue today and I haven't ordered an M3 yet. I need more than one tryout with it for sure, but I wouldn't play it before my 2016 430 M1 or my 430 R15 based on that session. I'd write it off to being off that day but I hit the Rogue great at the same time.

I was super excited to hit the M3. Like I've stated TM has always made the best drivers for me. I'd hit the Rogue a week or so before and I was almost salivating at how good the M3 would be. Face Twist didn't do anything to help me and I just couldn't seem to really nail one with it. I'll give it another chance somewhere else with their demo club (bringing my own shaft in true fashion, ha). But if I doesn't go any better I'll wait for them to hit the used market before snatching one up.

Where can u get a M3 or M4 already?

February 16th they are released, but I was a pro for 11 years and still have friends in high places :).

Swipe them form the local DSG, duh! Lol. They'd have never seen the demo Rogue I hit 1.54 smash with again if I was a thief.

I want so bad to hit the 440 but can't figure anyone that has one nor will get one to demo. I'm not shocked that I didn't love the 460. I will be if I don't love the 440. Time will tell and if someone tight with TM wants to send one to me to test, I'll do a detailed report gratis. It might take me months to test it under every conceivable condition but you'll get details that you never even thought about.
