Played this all last season and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I think it plays SUPER long stock though like actual playing length in inches.

 

Was fully prepared to game it this season until I hit the G400 lol.

What made you decide to pick up the G400? You should look into the Callaway XR16 Pro, as well.

Don't count out the Triton. Pretty much EVERY driver manufacturer was head over heels for the Triton, except Wilson.

One advantage to Triton is that you can take off the plate and put cotton balls/bubble wrap into the head. It will feel/sound 1000 times better.

 

 

and make it totally Non- Conforming...... If you're into that sort of thing. That driver was a Huge Loser and I hope you didn't pay anything near the initial Retail price.

Couldn't quite seem to get my hands on one..theyre hard to wrangle in...G400 is a beast though

 

I wont hate on the Triton...when i was on it was a missile launcher for me and kept my launch down. But the G400 has performed better and feels/sounds better.

Got it used and just experimenting with the head for sound. I hit it on the monitor and my numbers were pretty standard. I actually got a pretty low spin with an X shaft in it, Not a bad driver for the current prices, The Aldila shaft in it is pretty awesome. The sound with cotton balls is pretty good. And the biggest benefit is that nobody will steal it from your bag. :cheesy: Seriously, it's not bad except the sound.

I know this is an old thread, but the deal came up again this weekend. I emailed them and was told Aldila Rogue Silver 60, but 95 MSI version.

I ordered the Triton from Hurricace Golf. It airrived today. Unlike the email said, the shaft is an Aldila Rogue Silver 60, Tour S 125MSI

Makes sense. The Rogue Silvers were either 110 or 125. The 95 is the Rogue Black.
