@QuigleyDU @SMUGamer The OT Tour shafts are specific to irons. They are .355" Taper Tip structure.

W is the chemical symbol for Tungsten.

100TX came in today. Hopefully get a head to put in it soon as well. Notice like the red hybrid the K in CK isn’t orange on this one. Also doesn’t seem to be super counterbalanced as it’s about the same as Hzrdus black 105 for balance point and Freq wise.

 

Hey MRC what are guys on tour tipping this for 2/3iron driving irons? In the 39.5” final length range?

It really varies depending on feel - anywhere from 0.5" to 1.5".

Built it up today; here is my spec;

U500 3iron @ 19.5* and 58* Lie

Tensei Pro Orange 100 TX (Tipped 1.5")

Length: 39.5" EOG

D4 Swingweight and Tour Velvet Cord Grip

 

Hit it a few times on the course today and it didn't want to go left, hit a couple really long ones too, flight is fairly low which is nice and even though I tipped it 1.5" to be inline freq wise with my X100's it still feels pretty smooth. Smoother than other hybrid shafts ive tried. IMO it is very very similar to the Kuro Kage 100TX that I used to play but a little less counterbalanced which is nice when putting it into a driving iron. had to use a 4g tipweight to get it to D4 so not too bad at all.

I personally didn't like the White parts so might not be the best to ask, but the load/feel is smoother, the flight is slightly lower compared to the white, the Orange I got was also around 108g where the spec weight of the White 100 is just over 100.

@SMUGamer no issues. Used a 4g tip weight and made it 1/4” longer than std length to get it to D4. The U500 heads are heavier than the older TMB heads as they were designed to take graphite so that helps forsure.

I'm in between the pro white and pro orange hybrid 100tx I'm putting it into my 3 bent to 18. More apt to go with the Orange as it's heavier. Would love some feedback on how much to tip/trim it!

Pretty sure Titleist only offers up to the 90g part for retail

Price depends on your retailer a bit.
