Why is his white hot pro #3 so hard to find? Did they not release that model to the public? Seems like it sits super nice at address and I love the top line

I believe that particular model was released in Japan ( i could be wrong). There is nothing special about it, just the standard white hot putter. Price will come down in the spring ;)

It was definitely a normal U.S. release with the rest of the White Hot Pro line. I had one for awhile that I bought new at Golfsmith. It may have been released in smaller numbers than the more popular shapes (#1, #7).

I’m sure this putter was made more as a gift/example of what Scotty can/will do to get Patrick comfortable enough to make the switch. I’m sure Scotty was aware this putter wasn’t going in the bag for the Ryder Cup but wasn’t thinking short term but more so long term. There will be other Cameron’s made and who knows just might get out in the bag. Inserts don’t last for ever!

Stricker is on at least his 3 or 4th backup. And I think he's less finicky about the look of his putter as long as the feel off the insert is the same. Patrick likes a certain look for his top line and that is what has delayed any changes.

I think this is the case. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it, but not in the same quantities as the #1, #7 ,V-Line,etc. I know they bring a pretty penny on eBay these days if you find one.
