Nothing can match the J15 CB in feel, workability, and forgiveness. Benched Mizzy, Blew away AP2, hurdled X-Forged, and rivals Muira feel.

They are untouchable.

745s are the closest to competing

*I cannot speak for or against the SLB...All I can say is they look amazing and there’s a damn good reason he has them in the bag and why every wrxer whom owns them swears by them.

Are the Bridgestone's really that good? I seemed to recall hearing that on here more than once. How does the J15cb compare to their newer offerings?

So would the J15 CB be in the same category as AP2, Ping I210?
more like the i210 vs tge ap2. I find thr long iron on the j15cb just as forgiving as ping's. The ap2 are solid but less forgiving in the longer clubs.

What C-Rad said... But the J15's blow both away in feel. They are the softest I've ever played. I was a Mizzy player for at least 5 years; Went from 800 Pros, to 53s, 64s, and then back to 53s (arguably Mizuno's best forgiving CB they've made).

I bought the J15'S from a member here blindly solely due to the praise they were getting on this website. No word of a lie, It only took 2 range sessions and 9 holes to absolutely bench the Mizunos.

I thought Mizuno couldn't be matched in feel, and Bridgestone (Endo) forging smacked that thought out of my head... quickly.

They are cult worthy.

Good info. Very applicable to me. I have been a longtime DG S300 player as well so maybe that combo would benefit me as well.

I’ve just sent Srixon ztx 2s off for refurbishment and ceramic coating. This is my 2nd from eBay set within the last 6 weeks for sub $150. I’ve troed them side by side with 765s and I’d struggle to tell which was which in a blind test.

The closest comparison I can give is Mizuno MP32s without the punishment levels.

I’ve hit the Wilson V4s and the Bridgestone J40s. Either of these would easily get bagged but they’re just a smidgeon behind anything srixon.

Hi,

So, after I buy an engagement ring this weekend, I’m going full bore into a new iron search. I currently play Mizuno mp-63 irons, but I’m looking to add a little forgiveness. I love the look at address and the feel on pure strikes but I definitely need a little more forgiveness. I’m currently looking at the Ping I series, and JPX forged. Anyone have any insights into which performed best for them. I’m also planning on looking at players distance irons (P790 etc) but it’s probably a long shot that I’d go that route. Thanks.

If you're a mizuno guy then give the 900 or 919 tours a look. I moved to the 900t from the 63s a couple months ago and love them.

MP 64's for me. The sole is improved over the 63's. Less digging. Can't go wrong with these.
