Just want to thank you all for the compliments sent to me via pm as well as posted on the thread.

I appreciate that many of you are too relishing in the flashbacks these songs provide.

It continues to be very enjoyable for me as well to post and relive the old days for a spell.

For the record in all my years in Michigan (14) followed by the years (5) in St. Louis I never ONCE said y'all.

sigh, buy after 6 years here in North Carolina this Yankee has been affected. It is in there now I confess. It just takes place eventually residing in the Tar Heel state.

So there, and it least I didn't end up in Pittsburgh and say "you ins!" how tragic that would have been?

This one reminds me of building model cars back in the day. I still remember when model glue made the transition from mind melter to a more benign, lemon smell.

Isn't that funny? For some reason, it's the songs from the late 60's and early 70's that really hit me like that. Really enjoying this thread, and thank you to all who are posting.

I was one of the lucky kids as this was my bicycle in the early 70's Detroit

Then for my 14th birthday I received this beauty. I tore up the trails of what was then small town Rochester, Michigan.

All over neighborhoods of Orion Road. Had 3 other neighbor friends that had them as well. Great times.
