Yes since none of the big name companies are offering a mini driver.  They are going for a premium.

Its also pandemic golf prices; demand for clubs is way up.  I was watching the OO for a while, prices went up quite a bit last year. 

 

And not just the OO, but all equipment.

SLDR's minis are going for $150 on ebay. I almost bought one from Play it Again just to flip.

Well the obvious difference is that the 300 is larger. It's 307cc. It looks very inviting behind the ball, although slightly less nimble off the deck. I liked the feel of the O.O. but absolutely love the feel of the 300. With both clubs, you need to tee it up lower (maybe 2/3 of the ball sitting below the top of the club) and try to go after it like a fairway wood. Things fall apart when you try to tee it high and hit up on it like a driver. But teed lower, you get a powerful strike and some really satisfying sound/feel characteristics.

 

Spin is about the same. Both models are very low spin relative to loft. I would also say that the stock shaft in both models is "meh" and you should expect to swap it out. Head weight in both is about the same. My 300 is 207g and I believe my O.O. was 208g (not counting adapter).

 

I have found the feel, sound and forgiveness of the 300 to be better than the O.O. The only thing I preferred with the O.O. was its smaller size when I was hitting it off the deck. But for me, the 300 is exclusively a tee club (with an occasional exception when I need to bomb off the fairway and have a good lie). Oh, I also preferred the head cover of the O.O. but that's a minor matter.

 

I did pretty well with both models -- usually slightly shorter than driver (but not by much) and WAY more consistent. I am erratic with driver but have found my 300 to be an absolute fairway finder. (I'm playing it with a Ventus Blue 7x at 12 degrees).

Overall, these are both great clubs. If you swing them the right way (teed down) and get the proper shaft, they will eat fairways and will challenge your driver's distance.
