I no longer have my set of these but the Scotty is supposed to cover the bottom of the face like in the picture below. At least that's how mine were and they came straight from Cameron.

Legit question - has any thread in the history of this site asking "Is my Scotty Cameron headcover fake?" ever had the headcover turn out to be real? I can't recall one if that's the case. I see a "Is my Scotty Cameron headcover fake?" thread and without clicking it I already know the answer is "fake."

 

I think tour style Cameron headcovers are just too easy and cheap to manufacture to not have the market flooded with them. Of course, that makes me wonder why people will pay $250 for an item that probably cost $1 to make. Talk about high profit margins!

No disrespect towards OPs loss, but these posts always crack me up. Fake clubs, sure. The performance won't be the same obviously and that's all that matters. But fake headcovers?

 

I mean geez. It's a piece of fabric. If I wanted that "look" I'd probably seek out the $1 fake over the absurd originals. Then again my bag is usually just designs I like from Etsy or something.

Just to be clear, no one lost anything. As a forum moderator, I started the topic for confirmation it was fake when a BST ad selling this cover was reported by another member. I removed the ad and PM'ed the seller along with a potential buyer to follow this topic.

still with the scripting of the name, but also take a look at the yellow stitching around the white letters. They do not fill the "blank space" between with yellow. It is most seen between the T-Y in the end of Scotty, and the N directly below them. That should be all filled with yellow.
