What do you get when you mix Chucky, AB, Vontaze and Richie? An unmitigated disaster, and I think only 50% are still there only 1/4 way into the season. I don't love the Bears, I don't even think Mitch is a starting QB, but I do think they might be able to win by 5 points. Bears giving the 5.

 

Has anyone ever seen Gardner Minshew and Johnson Wagner in the same place? I didn't think so. I will take the over of 41 points in this clash of the titans.

 

Baltimore is favored by 4.5. Mason is finding his stride, Keith Butler looks like he wants his team to not only cover people, but tackle them as well. I am not ready to say 2-3 Burgh, but I also am not willing to say the game against the hapless Bengals was all smoke and mirrors. These games are either a slugfest or a blowout, which really makes this pick a total guess. If I go the over, its a slugfest. If I pick the Steelers and take the points, it'll be a Harbaugh blow out. The Steelers blew their wad with the wildcat and Jalyn throwing 3 passes so now the Ravens can plan for it. I am guessing it is over on the 42.5 points between the two teams, and I hope the Steelers get the majority of them.

This is huge, and I cannot guarantee weekly participation in the Thursday deal because I get busy, so I may have to make it my first pick in the pick 3, but for this week because the game is so close to my heart, I have to wade in.

 

This Friday I didn't play badly, but I certainly didn't set the world on fire, but my partner casually mentioned, "3Putt, you remind me a lot of Sean McVey from the Rams." I asked him, because I honestly didn't see it, "How is that?" And he said, "There are a few of differences. For example, he isn't fat. He isn't bald, he uses hair product and you cant, he understands football and you don't know what you are talking about, and he isn't short." I purse my lips and ask, "Well then, how might we be so similar?" He tells me, "I think, though I don't know him any more than what I see on TV that he's a doosh canoe and your putting like a doosh canoe."

 

 

Well, just as Sean hopes my friends opinion is only a brief snapshot of his life I also fear my tragic-comedy putting from inside 15 feet for birdie is a brief stint into the horrible putting afflictions I have faced recently. I see myself coming out of the malaise now simply because I have to bring my handicap down to a low level just before winter so I can start out in April with no chance of playing to it and losing a lot of money. I also envision a personal call from Sean to ask 3Putt what exactly is it about his pressers that makes my partner say those things about him.

 

In the interim, I anticipate a Rams beat down on the Hawks on the road so I will take the over and the Rams.

Well the commish has called his first two picks perfectly....lol...how did that happen?

 

Arizona gives up 2 fourth quarter td's yet still wins outright against the Bungles.

While driving to work one morning this week I was listening to a sports radio host. That host shared some amazing stats on Cousins. On 4 pm games and MNF games Cousins ( entire career) is like 4-26, seriously. Yet at any early 1pm game he is astoundingly better. Something like 65% victorious regardless of home or away. He also added that after a loss, IN A 1 pm START, he was incredible. Those stats ( after a loss) were in my original post.

He said he loved this pick and man was he right. He isn't a top tier qb, but my MSU boy and fellow Michigander did me right today as I had some nice cheese on the game. He too apologized to his receiver corp. earlier in the week. That was ridiculed , but I thought it was a class act from a classy NFL player.
