The deadskins go to Minny's house in this week's Thursday's Night game. They will be facing their old starting qb. Oh and that QB is the white hot of late Kirk Cousins. Will Captain Kirk get that Prime Time gag jinx off his back for this one?

 

Line opened at Minnesota -14 Sunday night in Vegas. It is currently -16 and I would think climb higher.

seriously what are the worst teams in the NFL right now? redskins? jets? falcons? dolphins? all these teams are straight up garbage; fade those SOBs and you probably hit 65-70% of the hits.

This weekend I focused hard. I remembered those things that got me to a 1, and if it weren't for an inability to hit birdie putts, it could have been my first sub-par round in a while. I danced into the house having taken money from my friends and explained to Mrs. 3P, "I really hit the ball well, and I went left hand low on the short putts and rolled the ball beautifully, but..."

 

She looked up from her Danielle Steele (over the glasses, we all know this look) novel and said, "I am on page 10, and I already have more interest in the Eastern European hunk who can't speak English than I do in your golf game." I went into the other room and proceeded to siloloquize my accepting dog who just wagged her tail and gave me some kisses for my exceptional round.

 

Speaking of WAGs, the Vikings and the Skins are both so mediocre, there are none to speak of. The upper midwest WAG even ventured to Green Bay because the pickings were so slim on these teams, and yes, I am talking Danica Patrick. No woman has ever looked better turning left repeatedly at high rates of speed. So, in a no WAG pick, I am taking the over of 42 in this one because I don't think the defenses are any good, at least I know the Skins D isn't and Kirk might be on a heater... just like my golf game... until next time.

 

Has anyone hear heard of Giselle? Well, she is a WAG for sure, but personally, I like Mrs. 3P more than those walkway models, not sure why but I guess if youre into supermodels, this isn't a bad place to start. Last night, and I don't have cable so I didn't see it, was a beat down on poor Sam and the Jets. I wonder what Le'Veon is thinking right about now? I suspect he is thinking about Giselle and the $12M Brady mansion and thinking, "If only I can get my rap career off the ground, I could have swag like that..." Well, he won't, and he can't. He is exactly what the Steelers thought, the product of his O-Line. Good riddance. When Ryan Leaf says he is worried about you, I can't help but feel like the Browns annual swoon is upon us. I see the Patriots actually beating this huge spread because Baker is simply not up to the task. Patriots and I am giving the 10 1/2. Which on a tangent, reminds me of the Black Flag song on their live album about the 10 1/2.

 

I think it was Brent Musburger who noted Ryan Tannehills girlfriend at the time, and I am not sure he is even on the Dolphins anymore, but it sticks with the theme, if the camera doesn't lie, she is definitely a WAG. The Steelers are favored by 14.5 points. After the Charger affair, I see the Steelers returning to the type of game the Steelers used to play before Big Ben put his stamp on the game and started slinging it all over western PA. I am expecting big things from Benny Snell, who speaks of himself in the third person, but if he churns up the yards and keeps the clock rolling the Steelers will win. Having said this, Ryan Fitzpatrick is on a little bit of a roll himself, and as a Harvard kid, he is smart. I am picking the Steelers to win, but they will not cover this ridiculous spread, and yeah, this WAG is something else.

Nobody is taking a pick in tonight's game? I didn't look back, but it seems for a few weeks we had a handful of us make a selection on Thursday nights game.

Well I think I will take the ghosts of the purple people eaters and lay the Big Chalk 16 points. I have posted here Cousins record is pretty stout in early games, yet his prime time record is garbage. These stats were over his entire career. Let it be known that over the last 3 weeks no qb has thrown more td's in the league than Cousins (10). I know the great WR Thielen is out, but there are other weapons. Dalvin Cook comes to mind. Other interesting angles to this game is Adrian Peterson is going back against his old team, and Case Keenum was a Viking starting QB as well.

So under the lights in the glass stadium that numerous birds crash into and die, I shall expect the Vikings cruise to a win and cover the 16. Y'all know I like Captain Kirk. Also being 1/2 Finnish could help my cause.
