8-9-1!? What the heck Steelers, I guess I get why you dropped into the prevent defense... so you could prevent P3P from having a positive record.

Thursday night seems like a no brainer to me. The "it" QB playing against Sleepy Eye Joe on a Thursday night in the rarified air of Denver. Sleepy Eye is exactly what we thought he was, and that is a good QB but not great. So, I have the Chiefs taking this and giving the 3.5 points. Also, I have an affinity for Sleepy Eye, his football career is similar to my golf career. I came out of the gates blazing, the kid from a small college making waves amongst his peers, then I was exposed as a middling guy who couldn't quite get over the hump, and now that I am old... its a countdown to double digit handicap. If Joe were short and fat, and if I smoked weed, we could be twins.

I can't think of two worse places to live. In MN it is cold and humid in the winter, and in the summer it is hot, humid and buggy. Whatever European was walking through there and decided to plant the flag was either a lake person, or simply didn't know what they were signing up for. At least the Native Americans would leave MN when the weather got bad, which is pretty much all year but May and September, and maybe that's why the guy decided to stay, because it was empty. The first European to get pissed off about the weather in MN headed south, probably on foot and not surprisingly found Detroit was empty too. He/she found the good weather for half of April/May and September and half of October and thought they had won the lottery. Well, I didn't watch the game last night, but it sounds like the Lions got the shaft from the officials, and they should have won the game against the Packers and Danica Patrick's boyfriend. It's always sunny in Detroit, and I will pick them and the give 1 point.

My Steelers team isn't playing this week, so i am at a loss. But I have always wanted to go to NOLA. I just think the music, the food, the accents would make it a fun trip. I have been to Chicago, and I hate their traffic, truly I hate the traffic. I don't think much of the Bears either, but I do have an affinity for the fleur de lis and always thought their logo was coolest in the world as a kid. The Saints are 4-0 without Brees, and while the wins aren't as explosive as they were with Drew Brees throwing the passes, I simply cannot stomach this game is essentially being called a 21-17 win for da Bears. That seems like a low scoring game given everytime the ball is thrown it is either a reception or a PI call. I am taking the over on the 38.5 points.

My golf game is back to sucking, my picking game has never been good, and my fantasy is winless... have a good week.

I was only worthy of a first place tie. And the officiating was atrocious. Two hands to face that weren't gave the Pack a win.

Ah the legend of ole Sleepy Eyed Joe lives on for another year here on this thread, and that's a joy to see. 'Cept the Blue Hen is no longer from the Blue Crab spot. In this season's saga we find ole Sleepy Eyed Joe in the land of Red Eyes (weed legal town that Denver is ) and grass fed Ribeyes. Twas nice to see the character be brought back this season in the form of a pick once more Pete. Your fans had been clamoring for more sources say.

Ole Sleepy Eye is such a STUD. lol

As mush as I don't want to admit it, because Denver isn't good, this one scares me because of all the injuries. KC will presumably only have 3 CBs on the active roster for the game, one of which is a rookie who's played only 6 snaps. Going to need a lot of safety help. But on the other hand, it's in Denver's best interest to run the ball anyway, so it may not matter much. I'm holding faith that it'll be fine. It'd be a shame to have to give up on the season this early. lol

Hello my name is Lawrence and "I can't watch any NFL game without action on it." "Thanks for sharing Lawrence " in unison at the GA meeting .

I'll say the Bronco's play defense well enough tonight at home in Prime Time to get me the pick with the 3 and a FAT hook.

touch's first pick of week 7 is Denver + 3 1/2

Report at halftime

Sleepy Eye is getting absolutely killed in tbe pocket, and their majic Mahommes #8 is out with a knee concern. My Broncos plus the points prediction is of much greater concern.

If requested will you share a tad about one of your encounters with the Sleepy Eyed one? For shame, did you tee it up with the Blue Hen Pete? Maybe had a skate around hockey practice with the SB Ring wearing Mr. Flacco?

Comes from his ex-OC when I was introduced as a Steeler fan, I had to ask what kind of guy he was bc his pressers were so monotone.

Ok, I think I am here but am I? It seems that way lately. My wife's family is in town and I have been a happy tour guide. I know she is smiling at me and so that makes me very happy. DC in a day is not enough time to really enjoy the sights but the weather was drop-dead gorgeous Thursday. I saw all the viruses that have affected our world. Amazing exhibit in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Do not get sick folks.

Speaking of incurable diseases. I have a disease and thats for more Jimmy G! Yes, it's been over two years since I spoke admirably about the Niners coup and the fact that they now have a very serviceable Qb with not many talented receivers but IMHO the most talented all-around TE in the league. Kittle is the best all-around package in the NFL at this time. Don't look now but the Niners are better than any team in the NFC! Yes, I said it. I fully expect them to go to the Big Dance and beat Tom Brady into the ground! Seattle is close but their defense is suspect. Rams are s sinking ship. Viking, Bears, Lions, Packers will beat the crap out of each other come playoffs and have no gas left in the tank. The West is going to relatively easy taking for the Shanny coached Niners and that defensive front combined with 3 talented RB's and enough passing game to keep defenses honest. But that defense is coming on fast! Looking really good upfront.

I will give the 10 and take Jimmy G in DC for a beat down in downtown Largo.

Niners -10

Seattle is giving up the hook and that is a bit unsettling with the mobility of Jackson. I like Seattle at home but not enough to give up the hook. I do like the over 50.5

Over 50.5

I am a believer in Indy. I do not know why maybe it's their defense, Brissett is competent, and Mack is a good RB. At home, I like them -1.5

I think Houston played great last week but might be a bit long in the tooth on the road.

Indy -1.5

I think I see a contrarian play in the over-under at 44 with the Minnesota and Lions game. I am guessing this game is being bet under, I will take the over at 44

Over Minn/Detroit 44

If there is a team in the NFC that can giver the Niners a run it would be the Saints.

My heart aches for Teddy and his patient style of play Da Bears coming off a bye at home would be a very sound choice. I might pay for this pick but I will take the Saints +3

Saints +3

Finally, I shall Drag out the chains and pray that the almighty Belichick has a rufe awakening in the Meadowlands and hope that Sma Darnold can have a coming out party

I think 9.5 might be a bit high

Taking the Jets at home +9.5

There it is a pick 6!

Send the checks to me, thank you very much.

From your fellow WRXer to your desktop with mutual respect and admiration.
