Senior shaft for arthritis?

Would a Senior shaft for arthritis? I know in general a graphite helps with shock absorption, does a Sr shaft help further?

Not really, but you can try a few other things that may provide a little relief. Larger softer grips can sometimes help because some people feel they do not have to grip the club as tightly. Some people also swear by "padded" gloves like what Bionic offers. And while it won't provide relief for a digger, if you happen to be a "picker" who picks the ball clean without a divot, then a super low compression ball like the Wilson Duo may help as well.

You might also try a CBD cream. I use it for my arthritic knee before I play a round and it helps a lot. Use it daily for better results.

I switched from steel shafts to graphites last year and the improvement was noticeable. As to regular or senior flex, I use both in my graphites and haven't seen any difference from arthritis perspective. Hope you find a way to deal with the pain.

I play senior and it is easier to load the shaft. Also midsize grips help as well. Softer shafts, mid size grips and a softer ball, and your in business.
