Vice Balls

I bought a DZ of the Vice Pros and played them for 9 holes this weekend.  I am not impressed.  My normal ball is the Bridgestone Tour B XS.  I found that they played shorter off the driver and irons.  They also did not spin enough on the wedge shots for me.  Maybe I need to try the pro plus?  Off the putter they were solid.  Just felt like a lot of shots were left short in comparison to the B XS.  Snell MTB X performed better than these in my opinion.

Maybe you should have played another nine with them...C'mon man!...

I've played 4 rounds so far with the Pro plus, and gave a dozen to my stepson to try out. Have to say it feels pretty much like the Snell MTB-X that I love, and my son is switching over from his ProV1X that he's been playing for years. Durable, long, great spin into the greens, great balls.

I am interested however I feel to make it worth it I would need to order 3-5 dozen. I will likely get a mix of Pro and Pro Plus and see if I like either. I have been trying out different balls this year and have liked the Tour Speed and Chromesoft so far with a 105 SS. I also have the Srixon XV and Snell MTB X at home that I have yet to try.

Not knocking but 9 was enough for me to figure out they aren’t the ball for me. Ordered a dz pro plus to test.

Just ordered a DZ lime to test out.  Hope I like this one.

I've been playing the Pro Plus for about 6 months now, with a few short stints of playing the ProV1 in between.

 

I find that I can pretty much interchange the ProV1 and the Pro Plus to have nearly identical distance and spin based on GC Quad. Swing speed is at about 100. I am usually trying to limit spin with my ball as I produce enough as it is, especially with irons.

 

The ProV1 does hold up a little better over the long haul. but that's about the only knock I can put on them as of now.
