I played 9 today and it was so weird what happened.

So I was matched up with a 3 some, 2 guys and a single. I had to ride with Herb, quite the talker and gave me a lot of swing advice that I didn't ask for.

Well on hole 8 we were getting ready to get in our carts and a ball flew over our heads. Herb gets angry and lets the group know he is a marshall on this course so Herb drives into this two some and begins to correct them. One guy puffs out his chest (short but really put together well (How I envision TexCrom)) Anyway they begin to yell at each other or at least begin to argue. I look at his friend scared for my life and I just grabbed my balls and bag and walked to the next hole.

I tee off and play the last hole carrying a cart bag. The titleist you all have seen.

The way the course is set up I just walk across the street after 9 straight to my sedan and leave. I threw my clubs in the front seat. Heck I was running after the last hole. I wonder if Herb got his ass kicked.

50 ish.... Lost to many golf calls OB. It's a subdivision planned community lots of white stakes, I'm counting 2 each time they go out.... Trying to keep it legit, but it's frustrating when others claim they shot a 47 and I shoot a 52 and played better than them....

Are you familiar with the term breakfast ball? I think it's another name for a mulligan. They take them all the time.....

And they hit the balls back to each other when they still have a lot of meat on the bone. At least I count them all.....

I did figure out two things though...

My grip slipped back to weak neutral on the lead hand, I put them together as one unit and strengthened them up. I was still hitting a fade but it was playable. I also put the 8 and 9 back in my stance 1.5 back of center and was able to hit the 8 and 9 much better.

Now one thing I DO believe - how many messages you got asking you to stay. It would typically cost a lot of money for the entertainment you're providing. Good on ya mate !!!

Naaa I play one certain track nearby my house and I play some others in my county it gets boring playing the same course TBH.

Monday I have that money round at Cimmeron that should be fun. Tex put a severe guilt trip on me so I called my friend and dumbed it down to a 100 and he said lets just play for fun you are broke anyway. He understands.... Nothing is finalized I thnk we will play for money but much less than we anticipated.

He was suggesting going to ebay and picking up an M6 for 280. I thought that was pretty nice of him.

I'll be completely honest. I threw away the MF head cover and use a Taylormade now so people won't look at it. I feel like I have two heads when I am walking around outside the club house with my bag. People look at me odd with that driver so I replaced the head cover.

Promises are meant to be broken baby! But yeah, if you are out of work you definitely shouldn't be buying new clubs. Weekly rounds of golf and money games makes plenty of sense though.

Yeah totally agree.... Money games you can actually win money and golf is really good for stress relief and the fellowship is really great as well.
