Heaviest bag you’ll carry?

I know there are other variables like how much you stuff or remove gear, but based on bag weight alone, what’s the heaviest bag you’ll carry (and what model)? I just got a Titleist 4 Plus and I think that’s the heaviest I would carry regularly.

5lbs. I carry in the summer in Florida...so ounces = pounds.

As light as possible. My heaviest bag right now is a Flextech and lightest is a Jones. When loaded up there’s only a 1.5lb difference as I tend to carry what is necessary regardless of bag size.

Roughly mid 4's. Right now of the bags I have (Ping Mascot, SM 2.5, old SM KG2) I will walk with the Mascot that I've had for about a year. I'm not totally sure but I think with the straps that bag probably checks in closer to 5 lbs. While it does carry/balance nicely, if I'm going a full 18 carrying instead of using my Clicgear, chances are I'll carry just 10-12 clubs and pull out all but the essential other items - 5-6 balls, rangefinder, water bottle.

If I'm carrying the bag had to be sub 5 lbs. I have the luxury of having a push cart so if I know I need to pack rain gear or extra water I'll take my Ping Pioneer and the Clicgear. Every other occasion it's my Sunday bag and a 3/4 set. I've found 9-11 clubs to be my sweet spot depending on the course.

I use the brilliantly designed Sun Mountain Zero-G bag, which puts most of the weight on your waist. Even with that, I top out at 20 lbs total, so I'm usually only carrying 11 or 12 clubs.

I carry titleist staff stand/ 2020 premium with no issues at all. About 6.5 pounds. Utilize both straps and it evens the weight evenly

I keep my bag very light. My summer bag is sub 3, winter bag is just under 5 (water proof). I do notice the weight difference. Typically in winter I carry less water so it evens out a bit.

I'm carrying an older Titleist lightweight stand bag now (~6 pounds), planning to get a 2021 Players 4 Stadry as soon as my club can order them which is supposed to be 3.8 pounds. Should be perfect.

Since the original post I’ve sold my 4 plus and picked up a 4 carbon. Shaved off a little weight and I love the new bag.

I went to the Sun Mountain 2.5 and like it. We ride most of the time (our course is super hilly, and my wife can't really walk/carry on it, sadly), but when I can walk somewhere else, I like the lightness. It also keeps me from carrying a bunch of junk I don't need. A few tees, a spare glove, 6-8 balls, a water bottle, and some fruit.
