Custom Golf Rangefinder Case

Has anybody had any experience with this Custom Golf rangefinder case on Amazon? I don't think I'm allowed to post URL's here, but it's the one with the American flag listed for $13.99.

I recently purchased the Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized, and I've been looking around for hardshell cases that offer a little more protection than the one that comes with the unit. The one I mentioned above looks okay at a glance, but I'm a little leery of the lack of reviews. Any recommendations?

I always held out hope a company that does custom headcovers and such would get into the range finder case market. Something from Winston or Seamus would be super sweet.

Looks like it’s prime shipping and average 4/5 stars. Looks like a similar style to some of the bushnell cases.

if it looks good to you then I’d give it a try. If it sucks just return it & give it an appropriate rating.

pretty low cost gamble, so i would go for it.

Buy it, try it, return it if it doesn’t work out. Seems pretty risk free to me.

I think this would be a real cool product to make. Not this Amazon one but a custom one, perhaps leather.

Seem like the same case the Bushnell or Precision Pro comes with. At the very worse, you have a nice place to hide your wallet (if it fits) or an expensive Tee Bag Case lol

The size numbers they list seem to compare with the Bushnell case. In tried some other cases for the Nikon Pro Stabilized, and liked the Garmin Z80 case the best, but ended up sticking with the Nikon soft case. It has been a none issue. I was concerned at first that the case would fly open on a cart as it didnt seem sturdy, but it really has not shown any issues.

The NaviTech case on the right was too big and not quite the quality of the Bushnell, even though they look similar (one on the left with bushnell badge removed). Even though both are made in China, the bushnell appears to be much better built.

 

Again the Garmin Z80 case is the best of the bunch, but with the silicon sleeve it's was too tight.

Very helpful post for those of us with Nikon Pro Stabilized. I was considering trying the Garmin case but I’ll skip it now. After seeing a review where someone said the case below fits perfectly, I bought one for $7. Unfortunately, with the silicon cover it is too tight. It’s possible to close it but difficult. The rubberized material looks cool and I think it would be good protection, but it won’t stretch much.

Good to know, I had considered that Nikon case as well, as they recommend it for their range finders, but I could never find any size info.

Could I bother you for an internal measurement for that NaviTech case? I can't seem to find one anywhere. Just the length.

I have an old Bushnell pinseeker and it is a little longer than the newer ones so most cases are too short by a few millimeters.

Just was searching the web and ran across this thread... if anyone is still looking Golden Soul now makes them and they are pretty phenomenal looking - still seems to be about the only company doing it.

Oland Golf does rangefinder cases. Nice stuff.
