On one hand I want the XDrive 405 thats on the way to work...

And on the other I don't want it to work so that I can get the Xdrive 435 (whats a HO to do :tongue: )

Almost anywhere in Asia, not v. many places in the US and none I know of in Europe.

 

One way(if you have the wonga) is to buy one off Chris at Tourspecgolf and if it doesn't work out sell it, they keep their resale v.well and would be sought after. Most people that buy them as imports tend to keep them though.

 

They are quite expensive but bare in mind you can get them with some pretty exotic shafts installed. Their specs are also very accurate, lofts, square faces etc.

 

None finer IMHO ..... I have a 405 with GD Ad-M65 and am now lusting after one of these babies....

If my 435 works the way I think it will my 405 (GD-65M stiff shaft) will be up for sale. Ploped down the 900 plus last night and now the pleasurable waiting game begins.

do you know what the difference between the Pt-6 shaft and the M65 shaft is?

Same concept and Technology they've put on US version as far as I know!

 

Shape and sound plays diferent off course but it's definitely has Bridgestone charracter on both of them.

Looks : Best out there right now... Paint is crazy good..Face line all the way across, deep face awesome shape.Square at address

 

Forgiveness : excellent..as forgiving as the Comp460 for me if not more so..more forgiving then my Tour FT-3 for sure.

 

Ballflight : Mine is a 9.5 and ballflight is on the highside.. I hit my FT-3 a little lower and actual loft is 11 on my FT-3..(both have Rombax 7V05 shafts) Produced 400 more rpms's then my FT-3 on monitor, but my FT-3 is pretty low spin with it neutral-forward weighting.

 

Ballspeed.. still cant find anything to equal my FT-3, but the tourstage 435 was the closest with and average 2 mpg slower at same SS.

 

Feel : excellent.. solid solid.. if you like the J340 you will like the 435..feel is very similar but the volume in impact is a little higher, but by no means as loud as other drivers..

 

Summary : I'd be playing it if I didn't have a Tour FT-3... it's that good..it should be they are not cheap..with nearly being $1k Japanese retail...so good I've been slow to put it on the market..My FT-3 is hard to beat.. with 11 degrees of loft and 2 degree open it's my anti left club..you have to doublecross to go left, which I'm still capable of (cool)
