Best feeling forged irons (blades or other)

My current MP-20 blades with Nippon Modus 120 shafts are absolute butter. I've never felt anything better. I'm thinking about adding the 4 iron.

Well in the uk lock down has slightly eased and can i play golf again, in 2s but I'm playing golf on my course.... Also I can actually hit my new irons I bought in January. They're mizuno jpx919 forged... Best feeling iron I've ever hit. Hitting them today maybe realised why I went for them. So that's my vote, really can't see another iron feeling as good

I just reshafted a combo set of Mizzy MP-15/MP-33 irons and played two rounds with my Maltby DBM Forged when the Mizzies were under construction. Once I had finished the build, went out with them for a round- it’s just no comparison. I never realized how different these two sets of irons feel between each other, but I could confirm for myself again that I’m a Mizuno lover.

Also, I hit my two playing partners‘ T100 and JPX 800 Pro against my set and yes, the Mizuno feeling is there in the JPX and I prefer it to the harder feeling of Titleists. My Titleist buddy prefers the more solid feel. It’s about preference and taste.

Only listing ones I’ve played and not listing any brand with a hollow head filled that is filled with polymer or has a steel face welded to a forged chassis:

The first Callaway Apex Pro in 2014 is a very nice forging, feels the same as the ‘13 X Forged and to me remains better than the rest of the Apex line. I don’t know who forged these for Callaway but to me the 2014 Pro feels different from the 2016 or current models.

Miura CB57 Is amazing. Powerful, satisfying feel at impact.

Yonex N1-CB also excellent. So are the 301 and 501 and all three are completely forged and built in Japan.

Bridgestone J15CB, J40 DPC. Surprising how easy the J40 is to hit and it feels sweet.

Yamaha RMX Inpres Tour Model - Yamaha moved most of its manufacturing to China about 2014 but they kept producing the Tour Model Forged at Endo. Played the 2015 head and it is compact and feels great. Yamaha’s irons are as strong as their guitars, outboard motors, golf carts and stereo receivers — all of which I’ve tried!

Mizuno MP5 is probably one of the easier to hit forged musclebacks that feels excellent.

TaylorMade p770 — My favorite in the TM lineup.

There are now many quality forgings done in China I know. Have played several but I tend to look for clubs forged in Japan because the commitment to excellence is notable and the quality is reliable. The Endo clubs forged at their Thailand plant are also fine by me.
