So far, hitting the stick on a par 5 at Seaview Country Club with a 3 iron from 230 while playing with LPGA player Katie Futcher.

175 yard par 3. Used a 7 wood, hit a low liner, hit in front of green and rolled to a back pin placement, right into the cup, for my first ACE!

In a 4-ball match against two buddies at a course on the Carolina coast, my partner and I begin the back 9 eagle/birdie/birdie. Then as we reach the par-3 13th, my buddy Joey presses the bet. I'm first on the tee and hit a 7-iron into the wind ... and my Titleist goes in the hole on the fly. Joey drops his club to the ground in frustration before he comes over and high-fives me. I bought him a beer afterward and we had a big laugh about that crazy back nine. Great memory, and it was over twenty years ago!

For this year, a punched 8 iron into a 150y par 3 that ended up about 6" from the hole. Tapped in for the birdie and ended up going -2 through the first 5 holes on the back 9. Of course I gave up all those strokes in the last 3, but still felt great to play those 5 holes that well.

Short par 5... sliced one bad ob and onto an adjacent street with relatively heavy traffic.

Ball ended up right center of the fairway about 410 yards.

Had my mark and a giant scar on it.

Think it probably hit a car coming at me and then one headed the other way.

Went over by the fence to see if anybody stopped... never heard anything else about it.

Still only got a par. Yech.

Hitting a 3h over a tree from the rough about 225 yards. To my surprised, the ball was on the green (out of view from where I was standing). Ended up taking a 1 stroke lead in our match.

Anway, mine (so far) would be playing at a local course some time ago (I was a young lad, and frankly better than I am now) and was teeing off on a hole, when my grandfather and I bet I couldn't drive the green. I hit one of the worst shots I've ever hit in my life, low duck hook off of the bottom of the face. I chalk it up as a loss, and was so mad I decided I wasn't going to hit another ball. We drive to my grandfather's, he hits his second, then we see a ball on the green. Sure enough, it was mine. My guess is I hooked it so far it hit the railroad tracks, then kicked onto the green. However it ended up there, I won the bet, and walked away $100 richer.

50 yards from the green. Large trees and a sand trap between me and the green. I would sure that I could never get over them. I was close and they were quite high. Zing2 lob wedge, barely cleared the trees and the trap, hit the green and rolled in the hole.

Short sided in two on a short five par, ball came to rest on down hill semi hard pan lie. Chip shot landed inches past fringe rolled 7 feet into the hole for my first ever eagle.

It happened yesterday. Was off of work so I headed over to the local course to play a round by myself (and to try out the new-to-me Titleist 704 CB's that my buddy gave me) and on #14 (385yd par 4), I hit a beautiful drive down the middle, was 140 out and picked up the 8 iron. Hit it pure and knew it was fairly close. The ball hit right on the edge of the cup, smacked the pin then landed about 7 or 8 inches from the cup. I only had half of a ball mark to repair as the rest of it was "in the cup". Nearly dunked it from 140 and that would have to be my most memorable shot up until this point (Only been playing since April 6th). Also happened to be my first birdie

6 iron second shot on a par 4 at Pax. River Navy course. Played the shot to hit just short to roll on, saw the ball rolling toward the hole, thought it went off the back into a bunker, but was in the cup.

Oh, I thought this was gonna be about tequila or something like that. I'll still share...a group of us asked for Irish Car Bombs (3/4 pint Guinness Stout, 1/2 Shot Bailey's, 1/2 Shot of Jameson) at an Irish bar near Fenway in Boston. We all woke up with black eyes, bloodied noses, and headaches the next day. Do not ask for Irish Car Bomb shots in an Irish Bar in Boston...they don't appreciate it. I don't think any of us understood what was happening and why till we aged a few years!!! We just thought it was a common name for a popular big boy shot!!!! Ooooops...

Mine was a couple of years ago at Pacific Dunes, hole #17. Its a Par 3, 208 yards.

The thing that made it most memorable was that we were playing in the worst conditions I've ever played in. It was raining sideways, wind was ripping and we were soaked.....not to mention there was a huge backup at that hole with 2 groups ahead of us so we had to wait like 20 minutes or so with no protection from the weather at all.


After our very wet and long wait I got up and stuck it to tap in range.......

Approach shot on the most annoying hole at a little 9 hole I used to play before moving back to san antonio. It's a short par four that I can drive... but it has a little strip of water in front of the green, a narrow green, and ob directly behind the green. Basically a forced layup to annoy people who want to drive it.

I hit an iron to 130, which was my happy zone for a full swing PW then. I hit my approach, see it hit the green, bounce, then I lose sight.

Hunted for a few minutes before checking the hole.
