The closest city to me was Niskayuna which is still 2 1/2 hours south of the Plattsburgh area where I'm from.  I'm truly from "Upstate" but it's so far "upstate" that's it's nearly forgotten.  We are more apt to say we are from the North Country as it's more geographically accurate.

However, SNL did poke a little fun at us...

1977 sophomore year, West County St. Louis, MO. I made the HS golf team. Hey I sucked pretty bad at the time, but was a semi-solid fill in should any of the big performing starters come down with the measles, chicken pox, or flu. I averaged about 4.5 over ( 9 hole matches) for my high school golf team career which was three years. Career highlights..........I did twice hole out iron shots from the fairway for eagles. I bet a few of you were curious to W.I.T.B. of commish circa his high school golf team.

Not sure Brady beating less than stellar defenses equates to playing against a stellar front 4 with constant pressure warrants 8.5 points on the line? Mike Evans is banged up, I can see a lot of short passes from both sides. A lot of Ronald Jones and Fournette. Make the WFT play the run and give Brady that extra second. But Brady is the master at seeing the cracks...until his a** hits the ground multiple times. The Ravens knew that formula in the past, and the WFT gets an older Brady who I saw crumble multiple times this year from being manhandled. Tempted to take the under but give me 8.5 points and my home team WFT!

 

This game gives me some pause. But I am feeling a bit of an inflated line. Weather could be a big factor here and I like Josh Allen a ton but he is not a playoff seasoned QB and Rivers with all his shortcomings can be really motivated in this one. If the weather is crappy in Buffalo I might have to make a revision...just throwing that out there but the Friday curfew looming LoL I am going with the team that has a top ten defense and top 10 offense and has a shiny new toy they are finally giving the rock more often than not. It's time for the Jonathan Taylor Dance Party! He is a top 10 running back in the making. I love getting points in the playoffs with teams that can run and have top 10 defenses Indy +6.5 

 

Another barking dog game which fits my narrative I think would be the Seahawks/Rams game. This game screams under, and I also like the dog getting the points even if the back up plays which might actually bode well. He scrambles better than porcelain doll Jared Goff which can lead to some sustained time consuming drives for the Rams. Both defenses are playing well, but the Rams have the better defense and they are not afraid of Wilson. Taking the Rams +4.5

 

Another game on the slate which the line is a little nauseating which begs to teased but that's not an option here So I am just going to take the under Pittsburgh/Cleveland 46.5

I would have teased this to Pittsburgh and the under 

I can see Pittsburgh winning by 2-4 pts
