Michael Newton JPX 921 review: big yardage confirmed

I know there are a lot of Mizuno fans here!  Has anyone seen this review yet?  921 Forged vs 919 Forged. 200 yd+ 7-iron distance: that is crazy!  He is swinging the club 86-89mph, and I get that he may feel more comfortable with the 921, but still, he is hitting an already long club a good 10 yards further!  

 

The other day I hit the new JPX 921 HMP vs the MP20 MMC and differences were similar. With the same shaft (DG 120 100X) I was getting a very consistent high 170s to high 180s on the MMC distance wise, with ball speeds maxing out at 126.  On the new 921, I maxed out at 129mph ball speed and 202 yards of distance. Absolutely insane (not sure if this is good or not).  The fitter had the same reaction when we started seeing consistent high 190's distance.  The club felt awesome: I will give them that. 

 

And, this is coming for a rusty player (me) who hadn't swung a club in basically 2 decades (until recently)-again, this is cheating! 

 

Thoughts?  Do I need or want my (or anyone's) 7-iron to go 200 yards?  How much of this is loft and how much is built-in unnatural pop?  That puts my 8-iron at 185, 9-iron at 165-170, PW at about 150 for the JPX 921 set.  I need what, 5 wedges?  It almost feels like hitting a 7-iron that far is somewhat of a party trick.

921 club head speed was 2 mph higher, 1 degree stronger, 600 rpm less spin. It’s now closer to the P790 performance if that’s what they were targeting (though the P790 flies higher in most testing). 
It does look like a great club, though the ‘forged CrMo’ is a little outside the Mizuno envelope IMO.

This is why I’m interested in the 921 forged bent 2 degrees weak. Should get the spin up and sort out the gapping.

The only differences I'm seeing in the Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro is the offset.  Are there head size differences?  I like the HMP because the offset is pretty close to what I'm playing right now.
