Anyone watching the Volunteers of America classic on the LPGA today?

 

Nasty weather. Traditionalists will not be pleased with the amount of women rocking flipped up hoodies today lol.

I don’t think it’s traditionalists vs non.  Hoods are ancient attire. Not at all a new idea.   What you have is an argument over practicality vs worry of appearance. 
 

some like the attention a trend brings. Some prefer functionality.  
 

I played early yesterday in 38 degree start. Ended at 50 degrees ( lots of wind. ) walking.  Wore a beanie to keep my head warmth in.  I thought about this thread.  And cannot for the life of me imagine trying to keep a hood on In that wind. Much less my ears warm.  But it’s cool with me if you have cold ears.  No worries.

I love hoodies and own a ton but I just don’t think they are practical on the course. The hood wraps around my head when I swing and if i want something to keep my head warm I’d rather wear a beanie. I have no issues with people rocking it but it’s just not for me.  I do like the vest over the hoodie look though. 
 

I do own the adidas cold rdy hoodie that I wear out and it’s awesome. If you are looking for a hoodie I’d recommend that.
