New Fujikura MCI Practice Shafts

Wasn’t there a photo on the tour truck report or “interesting photos” of Rory using one of these on the range recently? I tried tracking it down but couldn’t find it. Does that ring a bell to anyone?

Ricky Fowler was spotted using one of the MCI Practice plus shafts recently. Rory appears to have the GForce swing trainers in his bag. Similar in concept. Both are hittable tempo trainers. Advantage of the Fuji Practice shaft is that you can use any head you like. I plan on ordering one myself. I will also be thinking of Allen Iverson when I'm hitting it. We talking about practice!

Those looking for the DIY option....Alex Etches has explored a slightly more flexible practice shaft. Only for the smoothest of swings.

Just re-shafted a Titleist 718 MB with a Fuji Practice Plus shaft. It's awesome! Miles better than any other tempo trainer (orange whip, etc.) that you can't hit a golf ball with. Puts a great feel in your hand that easily transfers to your regular clubs. I have it in a 7 iron, but I can see a lot of merit putting it in a wedge too. I only have two practice clubs: Fuji Practice Plus and a DST Compressor. I would recommend both.

I still do, good warm up/drill club at the range when working on things. It gives enough feedback while not being impossible to time up either. Very clear when you have a  good tempo and better release, ball just pops on out there.
