Been tasked to design Sim bay for Father in Law

So my father in law is building a new home and has tasked me with finding some of the best options for a permanent in-home simulator. With my limited knowledge, i knew off the bat Trackman and Foresight’s GCquad were industry standard. He mentioned potentially wanting a multi sport option which foresight’s had a available upgrade for. I presented him with the GCquad, to which and countered with brands like full swing and HD golf. This caught me a bit off guard as i didn’t anticipate him going for something that was 2x in price. He really liked full swing because of the permanent monitor above looking at the swing etc.

Does anyone have any feedback on FullSwing or HD golf?

Additionally, This brought up a great question; should money be no concern what brand simulator would you purchase for an indoor hitting bay? I get the feeling he’s trying to go for a top golf/bar/hangout area kind of feel.

If he likes the ceiling mount feature you can look into GC Hawk. It used the same camera system as quad in a permanent, overhead unit.

I did some research into the hawk, however that’s still half the cost of the brands he threw out. Is there any reason why fullswing or HD would be better than GC?

It seems like your father-in-law believes paying for the most expensive gear is the way to go, so I say just roll with that.

This. There isn’t even any design needed for a bay if money isn’t an issue. They’ll come with everything needed, pre-designed.

Has anyone ever personally used either brand? Are there andvantages that these brands bring over the software from foresight’s or trackman?

I wouldn't overlook the Uneekor EYE XO. Mounts to ceiling and works for both left and right handed golfers. Spend the extra money on software, a laser projector and bling out the room.
