In principle, I hate to support the scammers who claim their selling authentic grips. I wouldn’t use them just for that reason.

Bought some MCC grips from BST. Can you tell if these are fake or real? I was able to compare the two (image of real grip from golfpride site) and found one major difference (circled below). What do you think?

Golfpride representative just confirmed that above MCC grips are counterfeit.

I bought some fakes off eBay just to see how close they were to the real deal. They were the GP MCC+4. They definitely felt thinner than the real deal and a little harder (probably because they were thinner). It was more in the top hand they felt thinner too. Almost like the bottom hand was thicker than the top.

I also noticed the same. Grip felt undersized and rough compared to real deal.

The bottom line is that MOST Golf Pride and other popular grips like Iomic on eBay at low prices are FAKE.....  No clue why people keep falling for the same BS.  Go to 

AliExpress or DHgate and check out all the counterfeit golf clubs and grips. 

 

             Many simply don't care so to each their own.

If you want to go cheap the saplize brand makes a grip that's similar style but they don't pretend it's the real brand. It's better quality than the fakes in my experience.
