Has anyone here used the Foresight App for Android?  An update was made in early March and it finally keeps a shot library on the device which is good.  It is also supposed to upload your sessions to the cloud automatically. Mine gives an error when it tries to upload and I'm starting to think it's because I have only the Basic subscription at this point.  Does anyone know if this is the case?

In the past the app would only work on one device (a phone or an iPad). If you can’t get it on your phone, make sure it’s not on another device .

FSX Pro is good for two devices but it’s pretty useless on a phone.

How are trying to connect them, with the BLP internal WiFi or by having them on the same network?

I have tried both. I started with home wifi, would not pair, then went to the course and could not get phone and blp to pair there either.

I can pair my phone to foresight app but it doesn't save shot sessions

Is there an error of any kind? Can you see the BLP in the list of WiFi networks?

I’ll assume that’s when you’re on the home network. Make sure WiFi is on and connected on the BLP. It shouldn’t matter but connect BLP and phone to the same SSID. 
 

Away from home it should be as easy as selecting the BLP in My Networks on the phone and entering the password. Connect the phone to the BLP before opening FSX Pro.

Anyone else having FSX2020 crash on them constantly. I can get a range session in occasionally, but it crashes 2 or three times every day i use it. 

 

I’lll hit a shot and them fsx2020 is gone and my desktop is on the screen. When I re-open fsx2020 it says “an unexpected error has occurrd. Would you like to pick up where you left off?” 

Also, on GSPRO, occasionally it will not move to the next hole and it wont allow me to hit another shot, or any buttons when i hit it into the gimmie circle. 
 

From what i can recall, I only seem to notice this while playing “the home course” with the 2’ gimmie circle. Anyone else get this issue on this course or any other? I know the Aliante  course crashes before i can finish the first hole even on the lowest graphics settings

Search for the battery calibration posts and directions on the foresight site.

There is a submenu on the display that gets you to it.

 

It will fix the “drops like a rock” issue-despite being plenty of life still in the charge.

How do you add FSX Play if you have an unlocked BLP?

 

Hi all, sorry if this topic has been covered, tried searching but wasn’t successful.  I have a BLP that I bought two years ago, which I shortly unlocked by buying the FSX2020 license shortly after the purchase.  I haven’t been keeping up with the latest software releases, so I’m out of date with the latest in terms of BLP software options.  

 

Do I need to buy the FSX Play license?  Is it free by any chance? (Or does it go on sale? 🙂 ).  Would greatly appreciate any guidance.  Thanks!

For some reason, it’s not included if you were an early unlocker. The unlock option isn’t available anymore, but since you’ve already unlocked it, you can do what I did. 
 

You would need to contact support and request that they give you a product key. They did it for me. I believe I posted about it a few pages back.

Yeah it isn’t listed.  Only FSX 2020, FSX Pro, and Fairgrounds.

Yes all driving range (stats) and course rounds are saved to FSX Live.

About to pick up a used BLP. The subscription ended, so I am starting fresh... but as am I doing research, a bit confused on what I need for what I want to do or the differences between GC3 and BLP

Questions:

- Can I turn this on, connect it to a project, and get any form of virtual range without the $499 annual subscription?

- Ideally, I want to connect this to the TGC 2019 and just use that. Can I do that without the Bushnell / Foresight $499 subscription?

- If I switch gears to a GC3, is the software included for life as I read it? No annual subscription?

- Does the BLP really need stickers for club head speed? Does the GC3 NOT need those?

I’m fully unlocked, so I haven’t had to worry about subscription changes so I can’t answer those for you. The GC3 is like the unlocked BLP and there is no subscription. 
 

All foresight (BLP included) need the stickers to gather club data. If you don’t have club data enabled, you wouldn’t need stickers. A GCQuad can have stickers for full club data (strike location, face to path, etc) with multiple stickers or just the club data that the BLP and GC3 (club data enabled) provide if you use the one sticker set up. 
 

So, it basically depends on the until and what that unit has been set up (paid) for. Ball only, no sticker. Club enabled, BLP, GC3 and GCQuad have the one sticker option with the quad also having full club metrics included. 
 

I know you didn’t ask about the Quad, but others reading this thread may have that question in the future and won’t have to ask if they read this. 👍

Great info, appreciate the help. The GC4 info is great to have, but yes, well out of my price range. I didn't realize the stickers were required for the GC4? I never picked up on that seeing at a club fitting place or in a youtube video?

If I am buying this to set up a home sim, does the club data matter? It will still track the ball accurately? I am assuming it's 100% fine.

I currently have an MLM 2 Pro and want to upgrade. I appreciate seeing the club speed and smash factory without any stickers, but could probably live without it. Taking stickers on and off seems like a giant pain. I wouldn't want them on my clubs outdoors.

Do it even guess at club speed without the stickers?

Ball data is all you'll need to run any golf simulation software in a home simulator. The club data is an added bonus, extremely handy for working on your golf swing and improving. You will not get any club metric readings without a sticker.

I leave mine on unless playing in an official event/tournament. They hold up pretty well even with a lot of outdoor play. I'll replace once I start to get a handful of no reads on the launch monitor.
