What do you like the feel of more? Feel trumps all in my opinion. T300 7i (29*) is basically a slightly strong 6i, so I’m guessing your 7i club head speed is somewhere in the 78-80 region? If that’s the case, I’d lean towards regular flex just based on static numbers.

I’d agree with uW, you’re definitely do sound like you’re in that tweener range.  Another option is to go with the S and soft step once or twice if you want a touch firmer feel with more control.  Graphite can be really finicky in general so you really need to try out both and see what feels better for you as well as puts you into the proper launch/spin window.

The MCI site describes the MMT shafts (parallel) as a midspin and midlaunch. Not a lot of difference between the two in basic specs.

 

Part of the decision on shaft flex has to do with swing tempo.

 

Does your source have any T300 irons shafted in MMT that you could try? Or, are you doing the reshaft yourself?

I play Miura 1008s (34deg 7i) w/ MMT 125 TX and hit my 7i 175 (+/-5) if that helps.

 

They play a little soft to flex ime - however I also like a little more kick across the board.
