Yes if she doesn't play well, the status drops. Same with all other players.... Even the medalist will drop in a reshuffle if she doesn't play well.

 

Not even concerned that Shibuno won't play well in all tournaments. Sure a few tournaments but she'll top 10 at least one of those early ones and she'll be all set...

Shibuno has an advantage - as rightly pointed out earlier - she can play ALL majors guaranteed to earn LPGA points for the reshuffle - which no other qschooler has (no one has that guarantee, eg Furue still needs to maintain at least some world ranking, for example). All Hinako needs is to make T45. 

 

I think she gets her groove back and shoots bk up into top 20 actually... I don't think she'll succumb to pressure.  Heck I think she'll be advantaged bec of her experience. Now, if she doesn't realize her advantage (all majors she can play to use for the reshuffle, then they need to let her know! I can't call/msg her - she's asleep - but I can try lol)

I didn't know that... thanks!  I didn't realize being LET #1 is there for the year... thought rankings reset every year and doesn't carry over.  

 

I picked Jeen vs @18majors's pick and have loved her game since her amateur days against Bianca, Yuka etc.  Those 3 are great friends on and off the course.   Heck she beat those in the APAC Womens in Singapore (in a playoff nonetheless against Yuka) and did well in Japan APAC...  Sucked that she lost in Thailand to Ariya, TBH - stayed up to watch that too

nah i got confidence in her, followed her in Japan in person/live for her 2nd JLPGA title in 2019... heck after that tournament, within the next few weeks, she wins the Open! ☺︎

Nah, I don't watch the CFL... I've had enough "excitement" in the early morning watching F1's Max win his first world championship... Was quite an interesting show to say the least LOL.   If any I watch the NFL.  Go Eagles! (though they are not good this year, I admit LOL)

At least you get the "sporadic feed", mine's been "down" since Shibuno was still -10 with a few holes to go LOL (WOWOW to the rescue!)  

 

Isn't this more an upload issue on their part now?  Eg someone screwed up uploading info to the site? LOL

It's HILARIOUS how the Yanks have adopted ECP as one of their own.

A few years ago...the Mericans didn't have many LPGA stars lightening it up...so blonde hair ECP was the next best thing.
