Im guessing youre referring to the pictures from Dicks of the Infinity Tour Next %. Yes, that is Brooks new shoe. Wait for the other colors if you think the white and black pairs look cheap. Amazing tech in these.

I need help here. There was a post in a Nike thread where a company did conversions of the Nike Shoe boxes into headcovers. I thought I bookmarked the site. Guess I was wrong. Anyone give me a hand?

Not sure if this is what you mean or not but I literally just saw these on Instagram. Look like the boxes but obviously leather not cardboard.

they aren't for sale yet.  Only a 1 or 2 stores have put them out early as an oversight.

That is what reminded me. It looks like that company is UK based. I did find what I was looking for. Doesnt look quite as cool, but still cool.

So I just saw and tried on the new ZIT Next% @ Dick's. Man, these just aren't awesome.

 

Looks-wise, they look decent looking down on them. From the side, though, they're just silly looking. Sooo tall, and the thick sole sweeping up to the toe like it does looks like the bow of a ship. In person, the "ledge" over the huge, unnecessary indent behind the air bubble is just as silly looking as it is in pictures. The various design "features" on these shoes just don't work.

 

Comfort-wise, they feel pretty good. The sole cushioning is really nice. I could feel the spikes through the bottoms of my feet standing on the hard floor; but again, the cushioning is good, and maybe you wouldn't really feel them out on grass. They don't have the same toe-smashing sizing as the ZITs, but the 11.5s felt right on the edge of good, and the 12s were probably too big. If I knew that these would stretch/give some, I'd get the 11.5s.

 

...But who cares how comfortable they are when they look the way they do? Not me.

I think that is the same heel detail that is on the same color way but laced.  The color descriptions are the same, but the BOA pictures are much better.

i hadnt looked at the other colorways. You may be right. But that darker gray looks better.

Yeah, even the blue is more vibrant. I think this has been a reoccurring issue for Nike and their photos.  I am pretty sure the original white color way for the ZIT was almost pure white in the photos, but had a more silver/gray toe/forefoot area in person.

The exterior heel area on the blue version of the laced VT2 is a subtle gray color.  It looks great in person, but is hard to pick up well in photos.

I was able to try these on at a DSG in Charlotte yesterday.  Grabbed my size (12) and lemme tell you guys these things are tight!!!!  I mean I have never experienced a Nike shoe in my size fit so snug...my toes were crunched up in the toe box.  Some folks like myself would need to size up 1 or 2 sizes.

Makes sense why they are coming out in wides also.
