As I have said before - ZITs were the comfiest but worse golf shoe I own, Premiere Tours are still my best shoes!

 

VT 2s are the only Nike shoe I. would buy but will see.

Really shocked at the look of these in hand.  Feels like this is a totally new shoe, not an iteration of last years ZIT shoe.  Should have just tweaked that.  Would love to be a fly on the wall in the design room for Nike Golf and see what crazy ideas they turn down.  Really disappointed, again.  Time to buy up all the ZIT's from previous years.

🤣🤣🤣 looks like my collection. I’ve been holding off on this thread. I like the original ZIT. Everyone saying they are tight but I went a half size up and foot felt loose. But I can see why people say they are right. Like the rest of you not sure if I’m going to like the new ones.

VT2 is probably my favorite looking Nike shoe ever.. going to definitely snag a pair or 2. 

 

The new ZIT is awful looking and doesn't seem to make sense!

You mention that they feel cheaply made. Is it just due to heft of the material? Maybe being super light weight is a benefit? (No sarcasm, seriously considering.) Is it something else that feels cheap too? Someone mentioned that the sole was floating, I could see how that might appear and feel cheap.

I think there will be plenty of people that will be happy about a brand new shoe instead of an iteration. As I've mentioned, I love the old ZIT, so maybe this will save me some money?

to answer your question I would say that their weight and feel (materials used) felt cheap.  I was not able to try on as they wouldn’t let me yet.  Only look at them.   And the ones I held were the black model so they had what appeared like a waterproof coating that could have contributed to the feeling of being cheap.  
 

I really like the look of the white/black ones and the white/blue/pink ones that were shown earlier. I will def consider them once available and I can try on. They are just lightweight and felt less substantial (which can be good!) and the coating on the shoe looked bad imo.

I love the ZIT but i recently took my 2020 versions out of my locker after a few months and they're now a gross yellow. Both the white and Brooks colorways. I have a pair of 2021 which are the light grey uppers that haven't gone yellow. Super comfy shoe but they def have their flaws.

Really like the look of this new one.

Yeah, restocked in a single color.  And it's not this exact shoe that's on sale, it's a coupon code, lol.  The shoe that everyone seems to love, the Jordan ADG3, is specifically on sale, plus you can apply the coupon code.  So maybe a discount on a shoe doesn't necessarily correlate with how popular or good it is?

Some people have mentioned this. The uppers look yellowed in my basement…but when I go outdoors they seem really white. Fingers crossed it’s that!

Just got these Air Zoom VT2's in today.  They look better in person than in the photos.  I like the shade of blue better live vs. the pictures on NDC.  The small subtle light gray section on the exterior of the heel is a nice touch as well.  These are really comfortable and my heel feels really locked in with these shoes.  We'll see how they are on the course once it dries out around here.

I've been wearing Nike Golf footwear and apparel for over 20 years. I hate to say it but you're right. The last few year it seems like they aren't even trying anymore. No new TW shoe in how many years, limited TW apparel, crazy sizing and fit, questionable styling to say the least. Best thing they've made is ADG 3's that squeaked non stop. Everything seem lazy. Take a running or training shoe, change the sole and call it a golf shoe. I've moved away from their running and casual footwear as well. They are driving me to do something I never thought I would........buy Adidas.

The rest of those are timeless classics that they can't even keep in stock still today. 

 

As for the ZIT yes I agree it's a bizarre situation even if it's true his caddie was popping the pocket before he would even wear them.

Somewhere back in the 2020/2021 thread they were talking about koepka having the pocket popped with a knife before he wore them.  That was around the time he had gone back to the tour premiere for a while after the ZIT had already dropped
