Just put 6X UB in play. Real easy to load getting a nice mid ball flight out of it.  This one should do a lot better than there last couple offerings (VR, XC & HD)

Did you hit the HD? Curious if you have a comparison

I have HD in my fit matrix I'll take it out on the range tomorrow and compare to UB.  It's been about year since I last swung the HD.

Please do.  I've been getting reports that they are similar in flight and spin but the HD feels a touch softer.

Well took out 6X HD & UB today hit about 20 balls with each.   As i had stated before HD definitely has a tighter feel.  The butt and mid section are stiff can definitely feel impact more with HD.  The UB a little softer in the handle  dampens the shaft for a real smooth feel.  

I think UB also has a slightly narrower taper rate from tip to butt compared to HD seems a touch thicker in the midsection which firms it up a bit.

Both are great. But UB for me was easier to swing.

Thanks for the feedback.  I absolutely love the way the UB feels.  Surprisingly smooth for a shaft that doesn't have much kick to it.  Was the launch and spin pretty similar between the two?

Interesting HD feels like it would balloon the ball, with a tight handle and some action in the tip.  but actually yes ball flight was pretty close mid for me.  If anything HD launched it a touch higher.  my biggest takeaway was the difference I felt in the butt of the shaft.  I can smooth UB for 18 holes, HD might get me swinging out of my shoes later in the round

That's crazy.  I feel like I have to swing out of my shoes in order to get the most out of the UB.  Anything less and it's launching a bit too low for my liking.  The search for another shaft continues on........
