Can Any Moderate Swing Speed Players Weigh in on Ventus Velocore

I have been experimenting with Ventus (Velocore versions) the last couple months on the range. Couldn’t get the Blue 6s going for whatever reason. Popped in the Red 6s at 44.5” playing length and saw great results. I think the red gets overlooked a lot but I find it to be a killer shaft. Loads up really nice and stable all the way through the swing.

My driver SS is also low/mid 90's. 

 

My buddy loaned me a Radspeed with the Ventus Velocore black in stiff. I had a couple of good days with it when I was swinging really well, but most of the time I felt like the shaft was just a bit too much for me.

Anyone know which Ventus Velo would be comparable to a Rogue Silver 60 110 Stiff?  Would it be Blue more than the Black?  Rogue Silver has been my go-to shaft for the past few years, but with everyone raving about the Ventus, I'm intrigued to try it in a new driver.

Hard to say, might be the red actually. The black and blue are actually really opposite feeling due to mid to handle section being stiff on black and softer on blue.  The red nets out to a more mid profile, while black is very much low. Comes down to how your swing reacts to handle stiffness really.

Saturday night I picked up a used Sim Max with a made for Red, 5r. I’m around that 100mph mark + or - a mile or two. Pretty smooth (at least I think it is). I bought it so I could open the face without losing too much loft (it’s a 10.5). I need to hit high cuts at my course. Currently been playing a Cobra F9 with a GD MJ or s 2017 M1 with a Oban Revenge. 
 

I put in the bag Sunday (different course) and was very pleased. I used it on 12 holes and hit all 12 fairways. I felt the distance was about the same, I could hit it higher when I needed to, and it just felt very easy to swing. 
 

Were getting pounded with snow again today, so it’s going to be a while before I can see if it was just the “honeymoon” effect, or if it really fits. But good first round at least!
