What do you look for in your wedge shafts?

I play the Nippon 1150GH Tour in an X flex after switching from the PX 6.0 and I love them.  Just got them in my 50, 55 and 60 as well.  

 

Golf is a game of consistency and that's what I want in my iron/wedge shafts.

My last three iron-wedge set-ups:

 

• Irons: Calla X20 Tour 4i-PW in NS Pro 8950GH R (97 grams); Cleveland CG14 G-S-L KBS Tour R ~110 grams.
• Irons: TE Exotics CB Pro Tungsten 4i-9i in KBS Tour 90 R (~98 grams); 48-54 in KBS Tour R // 60* in KBS Hi-Rev. ~120 gr... Switch to MD4 58* in DG 115 Tour issue.
• Irons: Mav MAX 5i-PW in Catalyst 65 5.5 ~70 grams; 48-54-58 reshafted to Catalyst 80CW 6.0, 85 grams. (see below)

Generally like a wedge shafts 10-15 grams heavier than iron shaft. Set PW always same shaft, flex as set irons.

 

Note: Catalyst 80CW 6.0, 85 grams (taper tip). Got Vokey or Callaway wedges with grooves left, that can get you through your first season with lighter graphite shafts in irons? The 80CW is a solid but not harsh shaft, and has more weight than lighter iron shafts.  As of October, Callaway had none available for factory reshaft. May have to track down 80CW on line, small lots here and there.

The best performing wedge shaft is the shimada tour wedge black.

Nothing comes close.
