I actually like that  ... you probably already know this, but if you play in any tourneys or competitions at all, neck has to be 5" or less, although it looks like you're OK. Tiger almost found out the hard way.

Nothing to do with weight, it's for face balancing, offset, and looks behind the ball.

Well, yeah ... but that's normally done with a traditional neck, not a length of shaft put between a neck piece and a spud in the head.

The knucklehead neck also allows for adjustments in toe hang without having to cut off the whole plumbers neck by simply trimming the existing neck, or adding a longer neck since we are looking at a piece of shaft glued in place.

 

 

Cool to see more knuckleheads out there though.

It is close to face balance with the long neck, his is a little shorter than the 5" max, so it has a little more.

I have been experimenting with the knuckle on a couple Camerons and on the Phantom X7 it came in very close when at 5".
