Fujikura over hosel putter shaft ? Pics inside

Unless I’m late to the party , this is first of this shaft spotted.  Maybe it’s on social media already?  If so disregard .  @Fujikura Golf is this for sale stateside yet ?  
 

 

clipped these pics from eBay. A pxg putter in Japan for sale has this fuji shaft in a spud neck centershaft model.  Putter is $1900 or else I’d buy it to get the shaft. Lol.

If true I'm all in, I've heard some rumbling of other brands doing similar shafts, I just cannot drop the money for a LAGP SoHo due to conversion rate. This or an MMT I could get 2 of them if the prices stay the same.

Will be interesting to see what the connection is really like.  The O.D. of that one looks to match very well with the diameter of the stub, very clean.  The LA shaft is simply a steel putter shaft, at least at the tip, with carbon fiber/graphite over the top.  At the connection point, the tip of the shaft is closer to .400" or a little over.  This creates a definite step from shaft to steel.

Looking at this one, there has to be some good custom work going on, at some level.  If it is still a graphite tip, perhaps they have turned the stub of the putter down to a diameter that will fit inside that shaft............but that leaves the stub closer to .125" and fairly fragile.  

I'm on the side that is very interested in hearing what is really going on and looking forward to the facts.

I thought the same Lamont.  It really grabbed me how clean that one looked.  And the price point even for a Japanese seller is way up there indicating they think it’s special .  Like a prototype or something. But yet it doesn’t say that. 
 

I had same thoughts on the soho shaft.  It’s bulky on some necks.  Makes a weird transition.

So if there is an over the hosel for spud neck..... Would it be safe to assume the flow neck is there too?

I believe in a lot of instances they’re the same at .370.  Other than the older Cameron and odyssey ones that flare out and are .390 or .394 or something like that.

Older Camerons are around 394 as are most older Bulls Eyes and Ping flow necks. You know me and you read my signature you get my drift here. Sometimes they are not perfect due to the shafts being heated slightly when installed then epoxy rammed down the neck. I do not know on Odyssey or more modern putters

I asked earlier this year about the status on over-hosel versions of the MC putter shafts, because I found some mizuno putters on ebay (tour magic model) which had over-hosel versions of the previous generation MC putter shafts. I was told they had "adaptors" for both the past and current MC shafts, but only on the japanese market. However, there were no plans to bring these outside the japanese market because there were some issues with them. No info on what they meant by "adaptors" since it looks just like the plumber's neck model shaft, also no info on what issues there were.

Asked for a estimation on when the over-hosel version of the new MC shaft would be released outside japan, and was told "probably never".

 

Would love for this to be wrong though @Fujikura Golf
