Trust me plenty of those Pro Golfer Gals would have jumped at the chance to go out on the town with TS, DMM, and LP.  ⚡

Grow the game. To an old dude who is grateful to say that he has enjoyed over four decades playing golf those are three words that are quite dear to me these days. 

 

Wednesday this week I played Etowah Valley with three coworkers. I have to on occasion squelch the "LP you never play with us " clamor that I hear at work and set up a game with my work buddies. So this week I made it happen. One was a player that gave me all that I could handle and the other two were newbies to the game. Combined the newbies had 3 and a half years of golfing experience. Neither one could break 90. I knew going in this would not be the usual weekly competitive game that I was accustomed to. I moved back one set of tees to join the group. The two big athletic boys consumed a bunch of alcohol right from the start and continued to pour it on/in for 18 holes. I expected this. I made my only birdie on my favorite hole #6 North (photos 1 to 3) so that was cool. I also made two doubles. I was only in half my normal groove due to the playing ability and energy of the group.

I shot an 11 over 84
